About Me

My photo
Hiya I'm Tonya! I'm an avid psper, have been for a few years and finally have me a blog that I've been working on slowly getting stuff added to. I started writing tuts and recently started making masks and templates. I LOVE to see creations you've made with my things, if you'd like to email me please do so at aquaspinner@gmail.com ................................................. My TOU are as follows: All of my items are personal use only NO Commercial Use, please do not share (distribute) my stuff in groups, just send people here to grab please. ♥ Tutorial writers, if you wish to use my stuff in your tutorials, of course I am honored! You're more than welcome to use my stuff in them, I only require that you link to me and send people here to grab the goodies that you are using in the tut. ................................................. Hope you'll enjoy what I have for ya and thanks for stopping by. ♥

Cluster Frame TOU

Thank you SO much for being so interested in my cluster frames. I love that you enjoy using them.

However I do have a request, please do NOT credit me as the cluster frame on your tags. Although I assembled it, I do not believe I deserve any such credit. If anything, please list Scrapkit by, (assuming you didn't add other bit by a different designer to your tag of course). I'd prefer not be given credit for simply assembling the cluster frame. Thank you ♥

SURPRISE!!!  My first tutorial in years!  Not quite sure where to start but here goes!
This tutorial was written by me - any resemblance to any other tag or tutorial is purely coincidental.  Please do not copy my tutorial in part or in full and claim as your own.  This tutorial was written in PSP X5 but can easily be adapted to any version I am sure.
I am using the art of Elias Chatzoudis and I purchased this tube at CDO here. Do not use his art with license to do so.
Scrapkit that I am using is by the lovely Amy of Gimptastic Scraps - this kit is exclusive to CDO and can be purchased here.
Filters that I used are:
•  Mura Meisters Copies
•  Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (not essential to tag)
•  Toadies What Are You
•  DSB Flux - Bright Noise
Okay let's go!
- Open canvas 700x700 - don't worry if that's big, we can crop later.
- Paste Frame 1 onto canvas, leave in center and grab tube and paste so she's sitting nicely on the frame (see tag for approximate placement)
- Click on the frame layer, and grab your magic wand tool, click inside the frame and then expand selection by about 10, and then invert your selection (Selections & Invert)
- Grab a paper of choice and on the Background layer paste the paper on the canvas (I used 3 different ones in the one, first one was paper 4, 2nd one was paper 2, and then paper 6 on the top paper layer).  Paper 6 with a blend mode of Soft Light and Paper 2 with a blend mode of Luminance (Legacy) however this is all just personal preference until you have the effect you like the most for your tag.
- On top of paper layers, but underneath the frame still, I pasted element 20 onto the canvas so that just the water stream was showing in the frame.  On one of the paper layers, I selected all, float selection, defloat selection and then invert.  On the layer with the element press delete.  Only the water stream should be on the layer.
- Duplicate this layer now and bring below the main copy.  On the duplicate (at this point make sure that your materials palette have white as the background and foreground colors - this is important to avoid funky glows), apply the filter Toadies What Are You with the default settings.  I then moved this layer over to the right a bit, duplicated the layer, and then mirrored it.  I then selected the paper layer and did the float, defloat, and invert again and going back up to the ones with the filter we just applied press delete.  This removes anything from that layer that went outside of the frame.
- At this point I put in elements to your choosing from the kit above the frame but behind the tube, you can view my final tag to see how I came up with mine.  This part is all just personal preference - make the tag your own and give it a special spin.
- Behind the paper layers behind the frame, I added element 17 and re-sized about 45% and copied a few times to give it a pretty and glam look.
- Grab element 5 and paste on top of canvas (so we can see what we're doing here) and apply Mura Meisters Copies - I used these settings:

I then moved this layer to just above the Background layer and then I just duplicated & mirrored it, you may need to take your deform tool and push in a smidge, I did on the one corner just a little so it fit around the frame nicely.

- Grab element 21 and paste onto top layer, again so we can see what we are doing here.  I re-sized it by 85% and rotated it 90° to the left.  I then applied Mura Meisters Copies again - same settings.  Drag this layer under all of the others (so it is above the Background layer).  I then duplicated and arranged to my liking so I had a nice effect behind the tag.

- Just add any masks of choice behind your tag to give it an extra effect or not.

- Place appropriate drop shadows on each of your layers to whatever your usual preference is.

- I pasted the wordart in the kit on top of tag and re-sized down just a little bit and I applied DSB Flux Bright Noise and then a light Gradient Glow using Eye Candy 4000.

- Crop at this point and do any re-sizing of your tag as you like, and then at this point - add your credits, always add after re-sizing to keep them nice and clear.

- Do your text using whatever preferences you like and then save as a png.

That's it, a pretty quick and easy one for you but I hope you had fun with the effect.

I also made a wallpaper with this tag and am sharing that with you too!

You can download it here, in size 1920x1080
