New blinkie!

Soooooooooo quite some months ago Deb of Creative by Nature had very sweetly re-designed my blog but I had a slight problem - my blinkie no longer matched and those of you that know me......... know that I have a matching fetish hehe. So in Creative Misfits I ran a lil contest because well to be perfectly honest I suck at animating tiny things especially blinkie size and cannot do em justice. The winner was Sandy she done up a fabulous one for me so I'm finally getting it uploaded hehe.

Isn't it cute? I love the wording she used, so if you follow my blog feel free to snag my blinkie. I'm gonna be re-doing my following blogs cuz well there's a ton I need to add hehe. Stay tuned! ♥

New Look!

Well if you've been here before you'll notice my blog has had a makeover! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new look and it's thanks to a dear friend Deb of Creative By Nature and I just can't thank her enough for what she did. She did every one of my requests. Siren of the Sea

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Selina Fenech which was available for purchase through CILM which is no longer open and the artist is not currently selling her art

anymore, hopefully soon though! If you don't have this tube, just find another pretty tube to use, mermaids have an awesome effect on this tut! Please do

not use the tube I used without a proper license to do so.

• Filters I used were VM Toolbox Zoom Blur, Toadies Plain Mosaic Blur, Xenoflex 1 Show Door, Xenoflex 2 Constellation, Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro,

Eye Candy 4000 Glass, and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow.

• Font used was Aquarelle which is a pay font and I cannot supply, however any pretty font will do.

Okay ready, let's go, this is super easy! Back to the old style psp tags we learned on before scrapping came into the picture lol!

• Open a new image 700 x 700 with a white background. We can hide the white layer and re-size as needed. Paste your tube onto the canvas and I applied a gaussian blur of about 10 to it. I duplicated a few times and flipping them as I went. In the end you want a blurry mass of the tube LOL! If it's taking up the majority of your canvas, re-size down so it's only about half as some of the filters take up a lot of space and you don't want the effects cut off.

• Make sure that your background and foreground colors are on white otherwise you will have some very funky glows that you didn't look for. Apply VM

Toolbox Zoom Blur, I used settings of 105 and 60. Re-size your effect a little bit. Apply Xenoflex 1 Shower Door to this effect, I had settings of 50 and 20.

Duplicate the image and re-size by 90% and apply Toadies Plain Mosaic Blur, I had all my numbers at 15. Zoom in a lot! Grab your magic wand too and select those black lines and press delete. Leave selected and select invert selections and apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting. Leave your selections active for the next step.

• Paste tube as a new layer, making sure that your selections are still active. I moved mine over the right side and down a little. Press delete on the tube layer, this way only the stuff in your selections stay. Change the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy). On your original tube mirror it and copy. Paste it onto your working image and do the same thing (move into position this time on the left, press delete, and change blend mode). Once happy with all this select none. If you're not happy undo until you can fix what you don't like.

• On the Toadies and SBP effect layer, select all, float, and defloat and apply Xenoflex 2 Constellation to this layer to give it some sparklies if you wish. The settings I used are below here:

• Paste your main tube as a new layer, re-size if necessary and sharpen. Duplicate and on the top copy apply a gaussian blur of 5, changing blend mode to Screen and I lowered the opacity to 57. On the original (bottom) tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain to give the tube a nice glowing effect and of course a drop shadow. At this point I re-sized my tag to it's ending size and sharpened and bits that needed it.

• Add a new layer and type whatever text you want, I typed Siren of the Sea as it seemed fitting with the mermaid and all. I typed it in a nice pretty blue color from my tube and applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice and and of course Eye Candy 4000 Glass and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow with a drop shadow. Add a new layer and put in the artist's copyright information as well as your taggers line if you use one.

• Just add your text, I used the same font and settings for my name as I did on the Siren of the Sea wordart I made.

• Hide or delete your white background, optimize as a png and voila you're done!

Masked Illusions

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• I used a mask from the awesome Melissa, please leave some love if you download. I used mask 6.

• Tube I used was by Keith Garvey which is available for purchase through PSP Tubes Emporium, any tube that you wish to use will do though. Please do not use the tube I used without a proper license to do so.

• Filters I used were Xenoflex 2 Constellation, Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow.

• Brushes of choice

• Font used was Caramel Candy which is a pay font and I cannot supply, however any pretty font will do.

Okay ready, let's go, this is super easy! Back to the old style psp tags we learned on before scrapping came into the picture lol!

• Open up a new canvas 700 x 700 with a white background. (If you don't like the white background you can close it off later no worries). Chose 2 matching colors from your tube to create a foreground-background gradient. I used 2 peachy colors from the tube that I used. I had mine set to sunburst in the gradient style at a 0 degree and repeats of 4. Add a new layer and flood fill that layer. Apply Melissa's mask 6 to it. DO NOT MERGE yet lol.

• Paste the closeup of your tube on top of the gradient layer but below the mask layer. Re-size if you like, I didn't bother to do that, I just moved it over the right a bit. Duplicate and mirror and arrange so it looks however you want. Merge down so that your 2 closeup tubes are on one layer. Duplicate. On the top copy apply a gaussian blur of about 5 and choose the Screen blend mode and lower the opacity to about 55. On the gradient layer, I applied Xenoflex 2 Constellation with the following settings:

• Merge your mask layer group. Add a new layer under the mask layer and making sure that your materials palette still has your gradient colors selected apply a doodle brush in a couple places so that it looks like it's peeking behind the mask layer. See my tag as an example. Add another layer and still beneath the mask layer, I added a few more brushes, the ones I used were by Distinct but anything with a swirly pretty pattern will do beautifully. This is where you can make your tag truly your own.

• Copy and paste the tube as a new layer on top of the mask layer, I used the half body one (or full tube) instead of the close-up here. Re-size to your liking and once happy, sharpen, duplicate, on top copy apply a gaussian blur of about 5 and change the blend mode to Screen. On the original (bottom) tube, I applied Xero Porcelain and of course a drop shadow.

• Because I don't like when tubes are 'cut-off' so to speak I wanted to hide how her legs ended, so I took my preset shape tool, set on ellipse with the foreground closed off and background just using one of my peachy colors from my gradient I made earlier. I drew a nice oval and once I was happy with where it was positioned, I converted to a raster layer. Select all, float, de-float and apply Super Blade Pro with the 'coconut ice' setting. Once happy, select none.

• Add a new layer and grab your brush tool again (LOL I love using brushes!) and I added some cloud brushes over the oval just to give it a bit of a dreamy appearance. You may find need to do a few of them. Once happy, re-size your tag to it's final ending size however you want that to be. Do an sharpening of images that need it and of course any drop shadows if not done already. Add a new layer and add your artist copyright information and if you use a tagline.

• Now just do your text, I had mine placed on that oval we made earlier and used the font Caramel Candy however any nice pretty font will do. I just used the peach color I did my oval in and applied the Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting againg, as well as Eye Candy 4000 glass (it gives a lille extra shine to it) and then gradiant glow with Eye Candy 4000 and of course a nice drop shadow.

• Hide or delete your white background, optimize as a png and voila you're done!

Prettier

OMG! I have a new tutorial up............... I think it's been at least 6 months since I've written one LOL

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Jamie Kidd which I purchased from CILM, however they have since closed down and her stunning art can now be found at CDO. Please do not use her art without a legal license to do so.

• Template I used is by the awesome Cakes and you can get it here thank you hon for the awesome temp!

• Mask I used was from incredible Vix here I used her big mask 1 lol.

• I used the scrapkit by the very talented Tamie of Addictive Pleasures I just adore her kits and this one I used was a freebie! You can get it here. I just adore her kits, have many of them from her store LOL!

• Filters I used were: Tramages Tow the Line, Tramages Pool Shadow, Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow.

• Texture I used in background of circle is here.

• Font used was Fansi Pensle Two, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag! It's been so long since I've written a tutorial I hope I remember how lol!

• Open up Cakes' fabulous template, made a copy of the image by doing Shift & D, this way you don't make changes to the original. Delete her credit layer by pressing delete. Floodfill that layer white, and send that layer to the bottom of your template working canvas by right clicking on that layer, arrange, and send to bottom. I do this so it's easier for me to see what I'm doing. Don't worry you don't have to save it with white background, just don't merge all your layers together lol. At this point I cropped out the excess stuff so that the image is more square-like. Makes it easier later when you do your mask so it's more proportional.

• Okay let's start prettying up this template! On Layer 8, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer. I used the gradient foreground-background which comes with psp set at linear with angle of 45, repeats of 3. I used black as one of the colors and chose a color of the tube I used for the other. On the new layer flood fill, keeping selected, add a new layer again and paste the texture in as a new selection. I changed the blend mode of the layer to Luminance (Legacy) on this one. Select none and delete the original layer 8.

• On layers 6 and 7 we will be doing the same thing lol. Using your manual color correction tool, choose your source as the black color on there and choose the target to be that color from your tube that you chose for your gradient. On each of the layers, I applied the texture effect blinds which comes within your psp. Just go to Effects > Texture Effects > Blinds. I used settings of 5 for width, 62 for opacity, and #ddcac7 as the color, with horizontal checked.

• On layer 5 we'll leave that black layer, but select all, float, defloat and apply Tramages Tow the Line with the default settings. I always tend to do the selections as it does seem to look different, more defined than without selections, but it's all personal choice. Now I like to make the lines colored instead of the white/silver, so I scroll in a lot and use my manual color correction to adjust those. Be careful you don't select the black, but the color in the lines as your source. The mauve color I've been using throughout the tag as my target.

• On layer 4 I used manual color correction to change that brighter pink to be more mauvey to match my tag. #c26c9f was my source and the mauve color my target. Alas that didn't work all the way some yellowish tones in there so I colorized to bring the tone all mauve and warm. Just colorizing from the start didn't make the tone of the layer as warm.

• Now layer 3 I tinkered with a tiny bit. I used my magic wand and clicked in the black part of the circle and clicked on promote selection to layer. Select none. Now you should still have your full circle, select all, float, and defloat. Add a new blank layer. Remember that gradient we made? I changed mine to the sunburst mode (option 3 on the gradient window), with angle of 0, and repeats of 3. Floodfill that gradient into the new layer you just created. Keep your selection and add another new layer and once again paste your texture into your selection on that new blank layer. Select none and I changed the texture layer to Screen blend mode. (I LOVE blend modes LOL!) On that half black circle that should be above your texture at this point. If it isn't.... move it there lol.

• On layer 2, all I did here was changed the white to the mauve color using my manual color correction tool. I changed the blend mode on those dots to Screen as well.

• Layer 1 is your glitter frame circle, I just used manual color correction and colorize just like I did for layer 4.

• Now for the wordart, this can get some tedious but this is how I do mine lol. On the Glitterback layer, I just used manual color correction and colorize again like I did on layers 4 & 1. On the whitewaback I selected around the word prettier. As you can see in my example that word has a black background and the rest mauve. I took freehand selection tool, scrolled in so image huge on my screen lol. Now once you have carefully selected around the part of the word pretty, I used manual color correction tool to change the white to black. Keep selection and invert your selection. Change the white to the mauve color. Continue to keep selections. Now on the wa layer (the main wordart), invert selections again so you are back to having Prettier selected and change the color from that brighter pink to mauve using once again the manual color correction tool. (Can ya tell I love that tool???)

• Well now we have a pretty template! But we need to add a stunning tube to it. I used the Jamie Kidd one as you can see, one of the reasons I love tagging hers is she includes closeups, so I had the texture layer on my big circle selected. I re-sized by 90% and moved over to the left just a little, changing the blend mode to Soft Light. I duplicated and mirrored this layer. Moving over to the right just a little and even up just a smidge so it doesn't look identical mirror image, gives some more perspective on it. On your circle texture layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and then on each of the closeup layers, press delete. This removes any excess overhang of the closeup and makes it look all purdy. You may see a link down the middle where they overlap, don't worry about that. Our main tube will cover that up beautifully!

• Be only layer 1 (this is your glitter frame around your circle. Paste the tube half body layer on top of this and position to liking. See my finished tag for reference. Now once you got her into place we're gonna take care of the body overhang. With your magic wand, select inside of layer one and invert selections, contract selections to 1. Grab your eraser tool. It's important to be precise on this next one so scroll in good. With your tube layer selected, erase the outer part of the bottom of the tube hanging over edge. I avoided erasing any of her hair. Once you've erased that part, and are happy with the look select none.

• Now let's put our mask in. On the white background layer, add a new layer, flood fill with your gradient, I used the sunburst setting and then applied Tramages Pool Shadow filter to it. Now I can't remember the settings on it but just fiddle around til you find a setting ya like. Then I applied a mask of Vix' and merge layer group. I used my deform tool to make the mask effect more noticable on the tag, just be careful you don't cut your edges on the tag if you don't like to see those lol. As you can see in mine some edges there, it's often hard to avoid in some tags.

• At this point, I re-sized my finished tag so that I can do any tube sharpening etc on effects. Once done re-sizing, on the main tube layer, sharpen the tube, duplicate, and on the top copy apply a gaussian blur of 5, I changed my blend mode to screen but use whatever mode you like best. On the main tube layer (original), I applied Xero Porcelain, I feel that filter really gives a nice 'pop' to the tube. This is all personal preference though!

• On the top wordart layer, I applied a nice gel-ly inner bevel, whatever your favorite one is and because I like shiny things hehe I applied Eye Candy 4000 Glass to it. Use whatever your fave glass setting is. Add your elements of choice throughout the tag. At this point I also added the artist's copyright and of course my waterwark. I always add this after I re-size! If I do before it'll look distorted. I added Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow to various layers, whatever your preference is. At this point also do all of your drop shadows. I just used the drop shadow within PSP for this.

• Add your text, on mine I applied an inner bevel, Eye Candy 4000 Glass and also Gradiant Glow and of course drop shadow. Hide the white background layer and save your tag as a png and you're done woohooo!

I've got a new blinkie finally!

Quite some time back I had my blog layout redone by Tamie of Addictive Pleasures and I love it but I wanted a blinkie to kinda match it lol so I sought out suggestions on this. I was directed to Angel of Angel's Designz and so finally did so. I had attempted to make one but ugh I'm so not good at animation and making small things lol so I thought I am giving this a try. She did not disappoint in any way! If you need to get a blinkie made I highly recommend checking out her site. You can see some of her work too on her blog.

No Drama Template

Rockitudeness

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Ted Hammond which I purchased from CILM. Please do not use this art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Mask I used was one of Vix' fabulous ones and you can get from her site I used Vix mask 278.

• I used the scrapkit by the very talented Tina of Tina's Magical World called I Love Music and it is available for purchase here. Fabulous kit hon! Very fun to work with. ♥

• Template by Missy of Divine Intentionz I used Template 375, thank you so much for the awesome templates hon!

• Filters I used were: Toadies What Are You, Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice preset), Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Lorelei Script, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a easy yet adorable tag!

• Open up Missy's fabulous template, duplicate and close out the original so you can re-use again later if you like. I unhid the white background layer and changed the canvas size to 800x600, I like to have lotsa room to work lol! You may need to flood fill that white background layer. I deleted the credits layer of the template. Okay lets work from the bottom up on the fab template!

• On thin rectangle layer, I used my manual color correction tool, choosing black as the Source color and changed the Target to #54adb1. On the wordart layer, I used the color correction tool again and changed the pink (source) to #e0f3f9 as the target. On the dotted line layer, I again used color correction and changed that pink as the source to #ffc1e6 as the target.

• On the rectangles layer, I did select all, float, defloat, invert selections and paste paper of choice as a new layer. I used paper 12, re-size as necessary and press delete and select none. On the circle 1 and circle 2 layers, I used the manual color correction tool to change the current pink color on those layers (source) to #54adb1 as the target. Do this on both layers. On the thin rectangles 2 layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, paste paper of choice as a new layer and press delete after re-sizing paper if need be. Select none.

• On oval layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and paste paper of choice as a new layer, I used paper 15. Resize as necessary and press delete and select none. On the circle center and oval frame layers, I used the manual color correction tool to change from the darker pink color to the lighter pink one used earlier.

• On the wordart layer (the Rockitudeness baby one), using my magic wand tool, I clicked inside the black text areas of the Rockitudeness word. You may need to zoom in a bit to see real good. Once you have all the parts selected you want, I used the manual color correction tool to change the black color to #54adb1. Looks good I hope? With things still selected, I did a weave effect as the weave there doesn't show up as prettily anymore with changing the color like that. See print screen below for my settings:

• On frame layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and I flood filled with a created gradient of the light pink and light blue colors using the foreground-background gradient. Or if you prefer use a paper or another gradient of choice. If happy, select none. On the frame layer, I used the manual color correction tool to change the color from white to the teal color used above. Once that's done I just applied an inner bevel setting to give it a gel-like effect. Now hopefully the template looking really pretty yes?

• At this point, I changed the canvas size to reallllly huge so that I could see if any layers had 'overhang' as we need to remove that if they do. Reason for this is when we do drop shadows and stuff if the overhang stuff not removed it might give your finished tag a funky glow. To remove the overhang what I did was take my selection tool, set to rectangle and find the layers they are on and selecting the parts I want to delete and then press delete. Select none and once done put your canvas size back at the 800x600.

• Okay now what I did is add my gradient glows to certain layers. As you can see in my tag, the various rectangle and circle layers. It's all personal choice how you choose to do those, I usually use Eye Candy 4000 with a setting of about 4, 25, 100 on the first tab and on the second I choose the "fat" setting and change my colors from there. Now lets add the tube of course! I just kinda positioned her above the frame and had wordart above.

• At this point I added some fab elements to the tag, there are soooo many to choose from in this rockin' kit, I had a hard time deciding which to use lol! At this point I re-sized my tag to how I want my ending tag to be and sharpen any layers that need it. Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark if you use one.

• With the tube layer, I duplicated, and on the top copy changed the blend mode to Overlay. On the bottom (original) tube layer I applied Xero Porcelain. Add drop shadows to all layers that need it. I used the filter Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you don't have the filter the Drop Shadow feature within PSP works just as great!

• On the white background layer, add a new layer and flood fill with gradient we created earlier (or if you prefer paper of choice or other gradient of choice). I applied Vix' fab mask and merged layer group. I applied filter of Toadies What Are You with the default settings. One thing with that filter, I always have it set to white on the background before applying. If you don't you might have some interesting blurs on it lol. I duplicated the layer a few times to darken it up some and merging them down until they were one layer and then duplicated and mirrored and once again merging down so that all the mask layers are together. Those steps only necessary cuz I used such a light colored gradient it may not be necessary depending on the colors you used.

• Phew! Almost done. All that is left now is to do your text. What I did is used Lorelei Script with Super Blade Pro (coconut ice) setting and then applied Eye Candy 4000 Glass, then Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow and of course a subtle drop shadow. Just hide the white layer and save as a png and voila all done!

How to.... Super Blade Pro!

Okay this is NOT a tag tutorial. Many people have asked me to tut how I use Super Blade Pro in the text of my tags cuz it usually looks pretty shiny lol so I'm going to give this a whirl! I'll just use example on making text cuz it's eay. First things first gotta have the filter! You can get it at Flaming Pear the makers of the filter. It does come with I think its a 30 day free trial and then you do have to purchase it. It's one of those filters that I definitely think is worth the money lol.

Okay so you've got the filter and you just install it like any other filter. Never ever install filters directly to your PSP Program Files. I always put all my 'psp stuff' on my external hard drive. I created a folder called My PSP Files and then a subfolder for Plugins and then of course each filter has a folder in there including my Super Blade Pro. Now when you download you should see your 8bf folder and also you'll see a folder called environments and textures and also one for images. Important stuff for later.

Next thing you wanna do is have some presets added in. SBP does come with some generic presets and those are fine but there are some that are in my opinion BETTER lol! Here's a couple of links to some awesome presets. When you download presets, you need to put them in the environments and textures folder. The program will not work if you don't! Okay here's some links and these are free presets and who doesn't love free???

another set I love but don't know about the sharing rules on them so unfortunately I cannot share are the 'kris' ones. But the above two will get you started!

Okay so I've opened up a new canvas, add a new layer for your text and I'm choosing a nice fat scripty font called Applejuiced. Sometimes the thinner fonts don't tend to work that great with the super blade pro effect. Typing out my name nice n big and some of the effects I find works best using white text, which is what I'm going to do for this example and using one of the Meadow Studios ones, called Blue Patriotic cuz well I feel blue today lol.

At this point you should see basically just marching ants around the name and the white text. I also create my text as floating. If you are a vector creating text PSPer, convert to raster layer, select all, float and defloat. You must have marching ants around the text for the plugin to work appropriately. Now we want to use the plugin yahoooooo. Go to Effects and find Flaming Pear and then Super Blade Pro you should get the following screen:

Now let's talk about this screen lol. You'll see the name of the preset I'm using M_bluepatriotic. Basically it remembers the last one used and often shows you a preview of what your selection will look like. If you're using the same as previously just click okay but if you want to change it, you need to click on the red box in next example:

Clicking that box opens up all your preset choices. Me I have a LOT of presets. I fully admit to being a preset ho! You can generally see a preview in there as well as you're flipping through them. Some people tend to sort theirs by color. I don't do that mostly cuz I'm too darned lazy to go in and do so lol. The box underneath the one I selected is to save a preset if you've made one. I've never done that nor have I changed any of the settings on the presets. It's easier to colorize if need be later. Now sometimes you want to look at different bevels, you can do that by clicking on the 'shape' in the upper left area there. You'll see there are about a dozen or so different options. On the one I have selected it's using the second from bottom shape, but you'll see what clicking different ones does to the previews as you try them. For example the very bottom one pretty much takes out the bevel. Not one I use most times! When happy just click okay that's all there is to it! The other buttons in there I don't really touch ever.

Now some tips/observations if you like to hear em. You can do this filter not just with text but also with perhaps elements in the templates you use to make tags or sometimes even wordart works good with the effect too.

If you haven't used the preset before it may ask you to find a particular file, the image file associated with the preset. It should be within that same folder, or possibly in the images folder, but generally I put everything in the environment and textures folder easy peasy to find then.

Sometimes the color doesn't come out just right. 2 ways to handle this, either change the color you used when you created your text, or after you've applied the preset you can use either the colorize option or the manual color correction tool. Play around with different colors and stuff you'll have a lot of fun with the turnout effect.

After I'm done applying the filter I just select none and often apply a gradient glow and a drop shadow. Sometimes I also use EC 4000 Glass after the SBP effect to make it super glassy lol. It's all style points and how you want to create your text, just have fun with it!

Orange Blossom

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Shawli which I purchased from My PSP Tubes. Please do not use this art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Masks I used were Creative Misfits I used Devilish Mask 2 by myself lol and also Aqua's mask 94 (awesome mask hon thank you!).

• I used the scrapkit by the very talented Connie of Connie's Creative Chaos called Orange you glad I didn't say Banana and it is available for purchase here. Fabulous kit hon! Very fun to work with. ♥

• Filters I used were: Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice preset), Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Loyal Fame and is available at daFont, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a easy yet adorable tag!

• Open up a new canvas 700x700, be sure that if you are using PTU art that you have your image resolution set no higher than 72 in accordance with TOU. Open up Orangeframe element and paste onto your blank canvas. I rotated to the left by 90° and re-size to your liking, I re-sized mine by about 80%. Copy and paste tube on top of the frame, see placement on my tag, I re-sized the tube by about 85%.

• Click inside the frame layer with your magic wand tool and expand selection by about 10 pixels. Open up Orange Paper 3, mirror, and then underneath the frame layer, paste the paper as a new layer. I re-sized the paper by 70%. Invert your selections and press delete to remove the excess paper from hanging over the frame. Select none.

• Underneath the paper for inside the frame, copy and paste Orange Doodle 9 as a new layer. I re-sized the doodle by about 80% and rotated to the left by 7°. With your mover or deform tool place to the upper left of behind the frame. Once happy, duplicate the layer, and mirror and flip. You should see the pretty doodle behind the whole frame now. See my tag for reference.

• On the white background layer, add a new blank layer and select all. Paste paper of choice into selection on the newly created layer, I used Orange Paper 80. Select none and apply AR Mask 94. Then make sure you either merge layer group OR you can just have the group-raster 4 layer selected and then apply the Devilish Mask 2 by me. Once happy with how they look, merge layer group. I re-sized that layer by 95%.

• Decorate your tag with elements of choice, I used a bow and also the orchid vine. So many elements in this luscious kit! Crop the tag to remove the excess out of it and then at this point I re-sized my tag to how I want it to be in the end. At this point, I sharpened the tube layer, duplicated and on the top copy applied a gaussian blur of about 5 and changed the blend mode to Soft Light. On the original (bottom) tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain just to give the tube a pretty glow.

• Add your drop shadows if you like at this point. I pretty much drop shadow everything except the mask layer lol! I use Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you don't have this filter you can just as easily use the drop shadow within psp. At this point add the artist's copyright and also your tagger's watermark if you use one. All that is left is to do the text woohoo! I used Loyal Fame but there are so many fonts out there just use your fave lol. I used an orange color from my tag (#fda21a) and applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting. If you do not have this filter, you can get glass like effects using inner bevel and Eye Candy 3 Glass (that is a free filter). Then I just applied a gradient glow I made using the green and orange colors and of course a drop shadow.

• Now just close off the white background layer, and save as a png and voila all done! I hope you've enjoyed this very easy tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Ismael Rac which I purchased from his store. Please do not use his art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Template I used is by Sylvie and Kristin and you can get it here on Kristin's blog thank you ladies for the awesome temp!

• Mask I used was from myself actually lol, you can get them here I used mask 2 & 9.

• I used the scrapkit by the very talented Tamie of Addictive Pleasures called Mermaid and it is available for purchase here. Any kit you want to use will do.

• Filters I used were: Tramages Pool Shadow, Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice preset), Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Texture of choice, the one I used was here, please do not rename if you choose to use. You should be able to just right click and save.

• Font used was Fiona Script, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag! It's a lil wordy but that's my way sometimes lol!

• Open up Sylvie and Kristin's template and duplicate and close out the original. Unhide the Raster 1 layer and delete the © layer. I pretty much left all the layers where they were except that I moved the Pixel Words to the top of the gradient layer. See my tag for reference, it will just depend on your liking and placement of tag. I chose to move the lips and lips back to the top of the gradient layer also and to the left side. Now since those are 2 different layers, we don't want to separate them much so on each of those layers in the layer pallette, click on the layer link toggle (next to where you change the blend mode) and click once. It should change from none to 1. Do the same for both of those layers. Now that they match when you move one (such as the lips layer, the lips back will move too but will not merge them together.

• Position your main tube on the template. See mine for reference. Depending on your tube choice it may turn out different. Re-size as need be. I also used the closeup of that tube and mirrored it for a differeing effect and placed above the Pixel Words layer. Re-size as appropriate for your liking. Some of the edges may hang over, if they do, on the gradient layer, select all, float, defloat, invert, and contract your selections by one. Grab your eraser tool and erase the parts hanging over you don't want. On that layer I changed the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy). Don't worry if the colors look weird at moment, we'll work on the colors next lol.

• Okay lets color it up pretty to match our tube! On pink glittery circle, I chose to use my manual color correction tool. Select a pink color in that layer as your Source, and choose a coordinating color to your tube as the Target. If at first it doesn't look quite right, try selecting more again til you get the result you want. You can also use the colorize option, I like manual color correction though because it seems to keep more truer colors, but it's all just your personal preference.

• On black circle layer, go to Effects > Texture Effects > Weave with settings of 2, 10, 1 and I used #00cdd5 as the gap color. This code may be different if you use a different tube/color in the overall tag. On the white glittery circles, I used my manual color correction tool there as well to change the color from the white to black. After I changed the color, the glitter was not so noticable so I went to Adjust > Add Noise to apply it again to bring it out more, using uniform, monochrome, and 67 as the selections. I applied a slight gradient glow to both of those glittery circles.

• On each of the pink circle layers, I did a select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and pasted paper of choice into selection on new layer. Delete the original pink circle layers. Using the closeup of the tube I pasted those as a new layer on top of each of those layers, you'll need to re-size to your liking, if using the same tube I did, I re-sized by about 60% on the closeup. Position to your liking and I changed the blend mode to Screen.

• On the black dotted circles, I changed that to the blue color code #00cdd5 using my manual color correction tool. Black will be your source color and #00cdd5 as the target code. On the small black rectangle layers, I just added the gradient glow that I put on the glittery circles. On the words layer, I changed the color from pink to blue once again using the manual color correction tool.

• On white circle layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with a gradient of choice. I selected 2 nicely contrasting blue colors from my tube with an angle of 45 and repeats of 3. With it still selected, I applied Tramages Pool Shadow. This just gives some texture to the layer and changes the color positions a bit. On the pink circle layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste in paper of choice. Or you can also use a differing gradient here too. Leaving it selected, add another layer and paste the texture into selection on that new blank layer. I changed the blend mode on the texture to hard light. Depending on the paper or gradient you used you may need to alter the blend mode setting.

• On raster 2 layer, I used manual color correction tool to change the pink dotted rectangle to a pretty blue color. I used the same #00cdd5 code for the blue. On the gradient layer, I colorized that layer using hue of 129 and saturation of 255. Select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, and paste texture into selection on that new layer and select none. I changed the blend mode to lighten. Play around with whatever setting you like it to look like, blend modes can be so fun to play with! On the Pixel Words layer, I changed the color once again with the manual color correction tool (lol you can tell I use that tool a lot!) At this point your tube closeup should look a lil better. If not, play around with that blend mode to change to your liking.

• On lips back layer, I changed them from white glittery to a black color once again using the manual color correction. Along that same theme lol I did the same with the lips layer changing them from pink to the pretty blue color. I did the same thing with the Words back layer (changing to black) and Words 2 layer changing to blue. I applied an inner bevel to the Words 2 layer. That's all preference though. On the stars layer, I also changed the color from pink to blue using that manual color correction tool. I did find it necessary to move one of the stars. To do this, I used my rectangle selection, to select the one(s) I wanted to move, promote selection, delete on the original stars layer. You now have a segregated star, move to wherever you want and then merge down to put them all on one layer again. I did a select all, float, and defloat and applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting to the stars just to make em shiny purdy. Then applied a very subtle gradient glow (see mine for reference).

• Now as we went on this tag you may have noticed some of your tube layers hung over the side, went way off the canvas. To fix this, what I do is remember what your tag size currently is and I re-sized the canvas, something really big like 1200x1200 just so you can see everything possible lol! Grab your rectangle selection tool and on the tube layers that you may now see hanging over, just select the overhang and press delete. May need to do this on a few layers, I know I did lol. Once all fixed up change the canvas size back to what it was originally. The reason this is important to do, is because when you add your drop shadows and if you've got overhang, you might see the drop shadow from the overhang on the edges.

• Wooohooo! Tag is looking some pretty I hope??? Now it's just those fab personal touches. On the white background layer, I added a new layer and flood filled with the gradient I'd created earlier with the 2 blue shades and then applied Tramages Pool Shadow. It just gives a little bit of texture to it without using a texture lol. I applied mask 2 and then to that also mask 9. If happy merge layer group. I did use my deform tool to pull on the sides as appropriate. At this point do your cropping and re-sizing of your tag to however you want the finished tag to look. Adorn with elements of choice.

• On main tube layer, sharpen, duplicate, and on the top layer, apply a gaussian blur of 5 and change the blend mode Overlay (or setting of choice). I applied Xero Porcelain to the bottom layer. At this point go ahead and add your drop shadows, I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow for this but if you do not have that filter the drop shadow in PSP works just as fabulous. Add a new layer and add in the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark if you use one.

• Whew! Almost done I promise. All that is left is to do your text. I chose Fiona Script using the pretty blue and I just applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting and of course a gradient glow. I swear I do not know how to do text without gradient glow! Then just a subtle drop shadow, hide the white background layer, and save as a png. Voila that's it! I hope you've enjoyed this tut, it's long but haha I'm a wordy one sometimes.

• I used a wordart piece by my dear friend Raq on her new blog for wordart! The piece I used can be found HERE

• Filters I used were: Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Texture of choice, sorry can't find link for the one I used but any texture you like should work great.

• Font used was Arizonia, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag! It's been so long since I've written a tutorial I hope I remember how lol!

• Open up Sexy Ash's fabulous template, duplicate and close the original so that you can save it for later. Delete the Credits layer on the template and uhhide the Background layer. I pasted my tube on top of the Raster 2 layer and position to liking. Happily this template is already at 72 dpi so that if you are using PTU art you don't have to re-size the resolution yippee!

• On the Copy of Raster 4 layer, using your manual color correction tool, use #ffa6ff as the Source color and I used #cb0303 as the Target layer, click OK. On the Raster 8 layer, select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with the color black. Select none and delete the Raster 8 layer. Using the following settings apply Weave (Effects > Texture Effects > Weave):

• On Raster 7 layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with a gradient of the black and red. I always just use the foreground-background gradient and have the angel set at 45 and repeats of 2. Select none and delete the original Raster 7 layer. On the layer you just flood-filled, I applied Noise (Adjust > Add Noise) with setting of Uniform at 44% and monochrome checked.

• On Raster 5 layer, using your manual color correction tool again, change the Target from the red color we used previously to black. You shouldn't need to change the Source color at all. On Raster 3 layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with that gradient you made of the red and black colors. Delete the original Raster 3 layer. Back on that new layer you just created and flood filled, add a new layer, and open up the texture file in psp, copy and paste into selection in that new blank layer. Don't worry if the color looks hideously unmatched to your tag lol. Mine is pink right now. Change your blend mode on that layer to something you like. Mine ended up being Saturation (Legacy). It all depends on the colors of your tag and your texture which one you use. Select none.

• Paste your tube layer on top of the texture layer and move about, see mine for reference, I had one off to the left and then I mirrored it and moved to the right. Once you get how you want, merge the top one down (so that your 2 tube layers on the texture are in one layer. At this point, have your texture layer selected, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and contract your selections by 1 and press delete and select none. Now you may notice that some edges remain on the outer edge of the image canvas, don't worry about that I'll show you a tip later how to fix that. I changed the blend mode of the merged tube layer to Luminance (Legacy) and also moved the opacity down to about 40. This may vary depending on the tubes and colors you used.

• Raster 1 layer I did nothing with. Raster 2 I just used my manual color correction tool and changed that Target color back to the red color I used originally. It should turn the color very nicely to match the rest of the tag. On top of the Raster 2 layer, I added the tube again, I didn't really re-size from the original, play around with it, it may depend on the tube you use as to your re-size needs. On Raster 2 select all, float, and defloat, invert selections, contract selections by 1 and press delete. I know it looks a lil funky some of the tube in the frame yes? Leaving your selections as is, grab your eraser tool and carefully erase the parts outside of the heart. See my tag for reference. When done select none.

• On the white background layer, add a new layer and flood fill with the gradient and I applied mask 9 and then mask 4 on that layer. I did re-size by about 110% just to give a tiny bit more noticiable effect. Or you can use your raster deform tool if you prefer, just be careful you don't make too big so it cuts off on the edges. Once happy with your mask, merge layer group and all done with that yippee!

• At this point I re-sized my entire image to make it to what my ending tag will be. Add elements of choice from the kit, there is loads to choose from so just do what ya like! I pasted Raq's fab wordart piece as a new layer on top and re-sized to however fits good. I used once again my manual color correction and I actually left the Source and Target as is. I know the one color is a bit pinkish but the red seemed to turn out how I wanted so why mess with it I figured lol. Then I applied a Gradient Glow using Eye Candy 4000 to it. I just used a subtle one of a real light pink as my inner colors and the red I've been using in my tag as the outer. Play around with whatever setting you like best.

• Now I said we'd fix the stuff that hung over the sides didn't I? Look at the size of your tag in the bottom bar, my image is 598x536 however yours maybe be different of course. I re-size the canvas BIG. I usually do something like 1000x1000 just so I can see every possible bit that hangs over the edges. I know I know it looks weird but hey it works for me lol. Grab your selection tool, set on rectangle. On the tube layers you'll see what parts hang over, just select around them with the tool and press delete. I had to do that on 2 different layers. Once you have them corrected, go back to re-size your canvas again and plug in the original numbers you had (for me that was 598x536). Easy way to take care of any overhang of tube or drop shadow issues.

• Sharpen the tube layer and duplicate the tube, applying a gaussian blur of about 5 to the top tube layer. I then changed the blend mode to overlay. Use whatever your preference is on that, try a few out if you don't get the effect you want. On the original tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain just to give her a nice healthy glow. At this point I applied a drop shadow using Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. If you don't have this filter the drop shadow feature in PSP works just as fine! Add the artist's copyright information, including license number if you are using PTU art and of course your taggers watermark if you have one.

• Phew! Almost done, just gotta do your text now. I chose to use Arizonia font but if you do not have it any font works, all up to you. I used the same red I'd used in the whole tag and applied an inner bevel setting, use whichever one is your fave or this is the one I used:

I then applied an Eye Candy 4000 Glass setting to shine up the effect a bit:

Followed of course by an Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow setting of choice. I just made mine black on the inner parts and red on the outer and of course a blurry red drop shadow.

• Well wow we are done finally! That was more detailed than I thought it would be but I hope you had fun and learned some fun tidbits along the way.

Well wow I have a new look here as you can tell if you've been here before. I was wanting to do something different or I also had an idea to give up on blogging as I didn't seem to do much lately here. But my friend Aqua (thank you hon!) suggested I check into service that Tamie Addictive Pleasures offers at her store: Dreams N Digital and I jumped at it lol. Tamie made this soooo easy for me to do. I just had to fill out an easy peasy questionnaire and she did all the work.

This tag and tutorial is in special honor of my dear friend Raqual, Happy Birthday Babe!

• Tube I used was by Caron Vinson which I purchased from CILM. Please do not use her art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Mask I used was from Melissa, you can get it here I used mask 14.

• I used the scrapkit by Angela of Bastel Galaxy called Autumn Dreams please go to her blog to find out purchasing options.

• Filters I used were: Xero Nostalgia, Xero Soft Vignette, Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Mon Amour script Pro, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag!

• Open up a new blank canvas of 700x700, if you are using PTU art, be sure that your resolution is at 72 dpi in accordance with the PTU companies TOU. Paste frame 4 as a new layer and re-size to your liking. The frame is gorgeous but as my friend Raq lovessssss sunflowers, I decided to put sunflowers over the flowers on the frame. Using flower 10, I pasted on top of frame, for the smaller flowers I re-sized by 30% and for the bigger ones it was by 50%. Just arrange them to your liking, see my tag for reference.

• Click inside the frame with your magic wand tool and expand your selections by 10. Add a new layer underneath the frame and paste paper of choice (I used paper 13) into selection on the new layer and select none. Now I wanted to lighten it just a little so I went to my effects browser (go to Effects on your toolbar and choose Effects Browser). Click on the Brightness and Contrast folder on the left hand side. It will show you options of what you can choose and I chose Histogram Stretch Factory Default as shown in my example below, then just click Apply.

• Let's put our tube in there. Back on the frame layer, click inside the frame and invert selections, contract your selections by 1. Paste tube on top of frame and position how you want on the tag. I had mine on top of frame but under the sunflowers I added to the frame as explained above. Once happy, grab your eraser tool and erase the bits hanging over the frame you don't want showing. Once complete select none.

• On the paper layer underneath the frame, paste tube as a new layer and arrange to liking so you see her on the right side under the tube and then duplicate and mirror and merge down so that the 2 tube layers are on one layer. (See my tag for reference of how to have it look.) On paper layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and on the double tube layer, press delete. On that tube layer, I applied Xero Nostalgia and then Xero Soft Vignette and then moved the opacity down to about 40. On the paper layer, I applied Xero Porcelain just to soften the paper up a little.

• On white background layer, select all, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice (I used paper 10) into selection on the new layer. Select none and apply Melissa's mask 14 and merge layer group. I re-sized the mask layer by 85% and arranged to make it fit nicely behind the frame.

• Add your elements of choice here. I added a doodle above the masked layer, re-sizing and duplicated a few times arranging to however you want to do that. I also added a bow and one of the pendants, this part is all your own preference on how you want your tag to come out. After that's done, I did my cropping and re-sizing of the tag to have it be the final tag size. Sharpen any layers that need it. On the main tube layer, duplicate and on top copy apply a gaussian blur of 5 and changed blend mode to Overlay. On the original tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain twice to the tube. At this point add any drop shadows to any layers you want them on. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. If you do not have this filter, just use your fave drop shadow in PSP or other filter.

• Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark. I applied text using the font Mon Amour script Pro using white in material palette and applied Super Blade Pro with yellow setting of choice. If you choose not to use the filter just do whatever effects you like best on tag. I then applied a gradient glow and a drop shadow. Hide the white background layer and optimize as a png. Voila you're all done!

Spilled Purfume

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Rachel Anderson which I purchased from CILM. Please do not use her art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Mask I used was from Melissa, you can get it here I used mask 10.

• I used the scrapkit by the very talented Missy Lynn of Immortal Dreams called Spilled Purfume and it is available for purchase here.

• Filters I used were: Mura Meisters Copies, Xero Moodlight, Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was P22 Dearest Swash, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag!

• Open up a new blank canvas of 700x700 with white background. I know it's big but gives us lots of room to work and we can crop and re-size later as necessary. If you are using PTU art, please make sure that your new image is 72 dpi in accordance with PTU TOU. Copy and paste frame 10 as a new layer, re-size by about 70%. Paste Flower 8 as a new layer, re-size by about 50%, sharpen, and then image flip. Apply Muras Meisters Copies with the following settings:

• Hide the flower frame part for now. With the silver circle frame layer active, using your magic wand tool, click on the outside of the frame (on the blank area), invert your selections and then contract selections by 10. This will easily select all the blank area inside the frame without having it be so tedious for ya lol. On your white background layer, add a new blank layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 20) into that selection on the new layer. Select none and unhide the flower layer we previously hid.

• Back on white background layer, select all, add a new layer. On your new blank layer, paste paper of choice (I used paper 17) into selection and select none. Apply Melissa's pretty mask and merge layer group if happy with it. While still on the mask layer, I added the leafs element as a new layer. Re-size that layer to your liking and move over to the right so it's just behind the frames. See my tag for reference. Once happy with placing, duplicate and image mirror. I merged down so that the 2 leaf layers were on one and I applied noise with these settings:

• On top of the frames, add your tube and position how you think looks best and re-size as appropriate. Now on the paper layer that is behind the silver frame but above the leafs and mask, paste tube again, don't re-size this time unless of course your tube calls for it lol. Once happy with how she is peaking through the frame, go to the paper layer again and make that layer active. Select all, float, defloat, invert selections and on that paste tube layer hit delete. Select none. Now have that tube layer active again, select all, float, defloat, and below the tube layer add a new blank layer. Flood fill with a matching color from your tube, I used #ddb1b8. Select none. On the tube layer again, duplicate and on the copy (this should be your top tube layer) apply a guassian blur of 5 and change the blend mode to soft light and also change the opacity to 75. Now on the original tube layer, apply Xero Moodlight (screenshot of my settings below) and then change the opacity to 71 on that layer. I also applied Xero Porcelain to this layer as well.

• At this point I cropped and re-sized my tag to what I want the ending tag size to be, leaving a bit of room at the bottom as my font was quite scripty lol. Add any elements you wish to use and add your drop shadows. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, but if you don't have that one, the drop shadow in PSP will work just great too. On the main tube layer, I sharpened, duplicated and applied gaussian blur of 5 to the top copy and changed blend mode to Soft Light. On the original tube layer I applied Xero Porcelain and a drop shadow.

• Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark and all that's left is to do your script. I use a light color from my tube and then did Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting) and then created a subtle Gradient Glow with Eye Candy 4000 and then of course a blurry darker drop shadow. Hide your white background layer, optimize as a png and voila you're all done! I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial.

Make Me Purr

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Lorenzo DiMauro which I purchased from his site. Please do not use his art without an appropriate license to do so.

• Template I made was by Rosey which you can get at her blog here thank you Rosey Posey!

• Mask I used was from Melissa, you can get it here I used mask 2.

• I used the scrapkit by Bea available here. This kit used to be PTU but is now FTU thank you Bea.

• Filters I used were: Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelain.

• Font used was Bank Gothic, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, make a fab tag!

• Open up Rosey's fab template, and as hers is already at 72 dpi no need to change that if you are using a PTU tube. I deleted the credits layer and also the Pixel Words layer as I just ended up not using them in this tag. Okay let's start prettying up this template. On Large Pink Circle layer, select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and in that new layer paste paper of choice (I used paper 10) into selection on that new layer. Select none and delete the original Large Pink Circle layer. Do the same with the Large White Circle layer, this time I used paper 15.

• On Bottom Right Gray Circle, select all, float, defloat, and paste paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 11), I re-sized down by 75%, you may need to move the paper over to cover that circle layer. Invert your selections and press delete. If all looks good, select none and delete the original Bottom Right Gray Circle layer. Repeat these same steps with the Top Left Gray Circle layer.

• On Top Right Rectangle layer, select all, float, and defloat and paste paper of choice (I used paper 16) as a new layer. Re-size down a little bit (I re-sized by about 80%), invert your selections. You may need to move the paper you are pasting over a little after re-sizing. Press delete and if happy select none and delete the original Top Right Rectangle layer. Repeat these steps for Bottom Left Rectangle as well.

• On Glitter rectangle, I changed the colors so that it was black instead of the white glitter using the manual color correction tool. Select a whitish color as the source and in the target box change it to black. Or if you prefer other color of course change it to that. You'll be able to see in the preview how it's going to come out so just keep tinkering with it until happy.

• On Left Pink Circle layer, select all, float, defloat and we are going to paste paper of choice as a new layer, but before we do that, the paper I chose (paper 4) I noticed that the black wasn't quite dark enough so on the paper, using my magic wand tool, I selected that dark gray and using my manual color correction tool I changed it to be the dark black color I wanted. It's important to not have the pink dots selected as if we don't it'll change those dots as well. Once happy select none and back on our working canvas then you can copy and paste that adjusted paper as a new layer. I re-sized mine by about 75%, inverted my selections, moved the paper to cover the layer exactly how I wanted and then pressed delete. Select none and delete the original Left Pink Circle layer. Duplicate and mirror this so that it goes over for the other side too and delete the Right Pink Circle layer.

• On Squared Square layer, select all, float, and defloat paste paper of choice (I used paper 11) and re-size to your liking. Invert selections and press delete. I changed blend mode to Dodge on this layer so that you can see those squared effects through the paper and it gives it the coordinating colors of your tag that way. On the Glitter Stars layer, I changed the color from the white to black, just like we did on the Glitter Square layer. Phew! Are template is looking really pretty now I hope?

• Paste tube of choice as a new layer, I paste it above the stars layer, see my tag for reference of appearance. Do any re-sizing if necessary, if using same tube I did, I didn't find it necessary to re-size at all. On your white background layer, add a new layer and I chose to make a gradient using the foreground-background gradient. I used the colors black and #c12f4a. Linear style with an angle of 45 and repeats of 5. Flood fill on your new blank layer and apply Melissa's fab mask (or mask of your choosing if you prefer a different one), merge layer group. At this point I also used my deform tool to pull at the sides to get the effect to show behind the template a little more.

• At this point I re-sized my whole tag by about 90%, as that is what I chose my ending size to be. That's all personal preference though, whatever you like for your tag sizes. I then applied subtle gradient glows to a few of my layers. See my tag for reference. Now decorate with elements from the kit you are using as you like. One note, I used the bling provided and colorized to make it darker but it didn't show up enough so I applied gradient glow to that one as well and I duplicated and flipped so it's above and below the Glitter Square layer. Add your drop shadows, I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, but if you don't have the filter, the drop shadow within PSP works just as great.

• Sharpen your tube layer and I duplicated, applied a gaussian blur to the copy and changed blend mode to Soft Light. On the original tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain, gives a really nice glow to her. Of course drop shadow the original tube as well. Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark at this point. I always do this after re-sizing everything so it's as clear as possible. Sometimes if it doesn't stick out enough I apply a gradient glow to this as well.

• Do your name text now at this point. I used Bank Gothic and just apply all effects you like on your text. Hide the white background layer and save as a png and voila you're all done. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Template 352 I used was by Missy, please go to her blog to get it. Thank you so much Missy!

• I used a mask 2 from Melissa, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Now anyone that has done my tuts knows I LOVE filters, and in this one I used: Mura Meisters Cloud, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, and Xero Porcelain.

• Font used was P22 Oh Ley which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go tag something purdy!

• Open up Missy's fabulous template, duplicate the original so that you can re-use again later. I changed the canvas size to 750 x 650 so we've got lots of room to work. Unhide the bottom background and flood fill white again. Delete the credits layer labeled by Missy. As her templates are already in 72 dpi no need to change that even if using PTU tubes woohooo! Okay let's get started!

• On Rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and paste paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 28) and I re-sized the layer by about 85% and when happy with how it looks, press delete and select none. Delete the original Rectangle layer.

• On Glittered Circle layer, I changed the white color to a dark green color in the kit by using the manual color correction tool. Choosing a lighter color as the source and then on the target you want to have it the color you want it to end in, I chose code of #229e97, but use whatever your preference is for the tag you are making.

• On Large Circle layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and on that new layer paste paper of choice into selection. I used paper 32 and then select none and delete the original Large Circle layer. Do the same with the Med Circle layer, this time I used paper 31. Complete these steps again on the Small Circle layer and that time I used paper 2.

• On Thin Rectangle 1 layer, change the color to a coordinating color in the tag. I changed the pink color to a teal color (code #229e97 again) just like before. I then applied Eye Candy 4000 Glass to this layer with the settings posted below. Do the same steps with Rectangle 2, 3, and 4 with the differing colors on 3 & 4. See my tag for reference.

• The wordart piece, you can colorize these nicely to your liking however you want but I use my magic wand to select as I go. So with your magic wand, I had mine at tolerance about 25 and feather of 0 and selected all of the black text and one exclamation point, once all are selected, I applied Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting). I found it wasn't as shiny as I wanted so I applied Eye Candy 4000 Glass also with the same settings as above however changed the teal color to be black. You may need to play around with the 3rd tab (bevel profile) settings, use whatever you think works best. Select none. On the pink exclamation point, I used manual color correction to change the pink color to a teal color and also applied Super Blade Pro to that item. With the word "BY" I changed the pink color to a teal color, applied a nice inner bevel setting. Finally on the aqua colored hearts, I changed the color again with manual color correction tool from the aqua (source) to purple (target) and with them still selected, applied Super Blade Pro (once again with the coconut ice setting). Select none and finally, I selected the the white gradient glow that is around all of the text. Once all selected, I applied noise with the following settings:

• Okay now let's put some gradient glow around some of the edges. I applied gradient glow to all my teal layers one like this one posted below. Settings on first tab were 4, 25, 100. Use whatever works best for your tag though. Then on the purple layers, I basically reversed the colors on the gradient glow.

• Okay we gotta do something with those photo frames yet. On the polaroid on left, I used magic wand to select the white portion and then changed the color to a nice purple color using the manual color correction tool. With everything selected yet, I applied Mura Meisters Cloud with the following settings:

Select none if happy and then do the same with the other polaroid frame doing teal instead of purple. See my tag for reference. Now time to place our tubes in there of course. Using magic wand tool select inside part, invert selections and contract by 1. I do this because when we erase parts of the tube layer, it looks more seamless that way. Paste tube as new layer and arrange to your liking, re-size if necessary. Once happy with placing, grab your eraser tool and erase the bits that hang over on the bottom. Select none, duplicate tube and apply gaussian blur of 5 and change blend mode to soft light. On the bottom tube apply Xero Porcelain with the default settings. Repeat these steps on the other frame.

• Re-size your image to what you want your ending tag to be and add any elements of choice and re-sizing and positioning as you like. If you are using same kit I did there are LOADS of fabulous elements in there. At this point I also applied my drop shadows using Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you don't have that filter, the drop shadow feature in PSP works just great as well. On the background layer, add a new layer. In your material palette create a gradient from your 2 main colors of the tag and flood fill on that new blank layer and apply Melissa's mask, merge layer group. I used my deform tool to stretch it just a little.

• Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark to the tag and then of course your text. I used P22 Oh Ley but if you don't have that font, just use your fave scripty font of choice. Hide white background layer and save as a png and voila you're all done! I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial.

• Filters I used were Tramages Tow the Line, Filter Factory E Metal Peacocks, Filter Factory G Glass Pyramids, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro, Eye Candy 5 Impact Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelain, Muras Meister Copies, and Toadies What Are You. Phew! I love filters lol

• Font used was Laine Day which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this won't be too hard I promise!

• Open up Tracy's fab template and as her dpi setting doesn't exceed 72 no need to change that if using PTU tubes woohooo! I changed canvas size to 650x650 so we have a lil more room to work. I deleted the credits layer and added a blank layer, flood filled white and sent that layer to the bottom. Let's start out by putting our tubes on the template how we want. You can use my tag as a reference. On Circle 1 layer, select all, float, defloat and paste tube as a new layer. Re-size the tube to your liking so she'll fit in there nice. Invert your selections and press delete this will remove all the excess stuff that hangs over the circle. I have the tube above the circle 1 layer but below the frame. Now as long as you have your selections nice, invert selections again so you have the circle selected and add a new layer above the circle layer (this should be below the tube layer you just added. Paste paper of choice into selection on that new layer, I used paper 20. Select none. I chose to change the blend mode to screen on this layer so that you can see the effects of Circle 1 but the color matches closer to what your tag will be. If Screen doesn't work for ya, choose a different blend mode, it may vary depending on the tones you choose for your tag. Repeat each of these steps for Circle 2 and Circle 3 layers. I used a different Zindy tube on each of them, that's all personal preference though, whatever you like for your tag.

• On the Rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat and add a new blank layer. Have a light pink color and a dark pink color in your background and foreground material palette. I used #eb6d8b as Foreground and #ffe3f5 as my background colors, chose the foreground-background gradient linear style with angle of 45 and repeats of 5. Flood fill in that new blank layer that you should have still selected. Select none and delete the original Rectangle layer. Grab your text tool and choose your fave pixel font, I used Oh La La (be sure that your anti-alias is on OFF for this as it makes the text look much clearer that way, no width, and no bold). Add a new layer above the gradient layer you just created and type text of your choice. I typed mine in font color of black and typed: Faith Love Hope Strength and put somewhere in middle of canvas, select none or promote to raster layer depending on how you do your text. Apply Mura Meisters Copies, I chose the Tiling preset and changed the Tile Gap to 2 and apply. I chose to center the text in my gradient box whatever works for your preferences. On the gradient box layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and then on your tiled Muras layer, press delete. That should leave your text all nice on top of that layer. I changed the blend mode of the text to Soft Light. It may vary depending on whatever colors you've chosen to use.

• On Circle Frame 1 layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new blank layer, and paste into selection paper of choice on that new layer. I used paper 1. Select none and delete original Circle Frame 1 layer. On the new pink layer you have, I applied a noise setting (Adjust > Add/Remove Noise > Add Noise). I used Uniform at Noise of 50% and have Monochrome selected. Again this is all just preference, lots of noise filters out there, just use your fave! Do these steps on each of the frame layer (a total of 4 of them currently in the tag).

• On text layer, let's change the black text and make it colorful, I think Pink is a great choice! I used my manual color correction tool for this step. When you've activated that tool, change the source to be the black color by clicking on it. Click in the target box and change it to whatever color you want from your tag. I chose to use #eb6d8b and click OK. I applied a nice inner bevel to mine and then used my Eye Candy Gradient Glow 4 filter to give it a nice stand out effect for such an important message and then of course a nice drop shadow.

• Now lets use that gorgeous mask! On the white background layer, add a new layer, select all and paste a paper of choice (I used paper 3) into selection on that new layer. Select none and apply mask and merge layer group, I then re-sized by 95% and using my deform tool dragged in and out the layer until I got my most preferred result lol.

• Okay! Time to pretty it up with some filters and stuff right? On each of the filled circle layers (the papers I filled in earlier underneath each of the tubes) I applied filters of Metal Peacocks on one, Tow the Line on another and also Glass Pyramids on the last one. You can use all one filter or different, just whatever you like. At this point I also re-sized my tag to my final ending tag size. It just helps so I know how it'll look when I use the tag. After sharpening the tube layers, I applied Xero Porcelain (default settings) and then Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. I also changed each of the tube layers' blend modes to Luminance (Legacy). On one of the tube layers, I did duplicate, apply gaussian blur of 5 to the copy and changed blend mode to Soft Light. What this did was darken it just a smidge. You'll get the idea by playing around with the modes.

• All that's left is do your finishing touches as I call them. First and foremost of course is add your artist's copyright and taggers watermark. I always do this step after re-sizing so it's as clear as possible. I find it sometimes helps to apply a very slight gradient glow to this layer. Helps to dell some of the stuff behind it so the © sticks out more. Then just add your elements of choice and your drop shadows. I used Glitter Swirl 3 underneath all the layers, duplicated and mirrored. Then I duplicated that one and rotated to the right by 45° and placed to my liking so it looked good. I merged the 3 glitter swirls together, and duplicated. On the bottom copy, I applied Toadies What Are You filter with the default settings. Make sure that your background and foreground are on white otherwise you may get some funky shadows.

• Now just do your text, I used Laine Day and also used Super Blade Pro (a pretty pink setting) and gradient glow with a nice drop shadow. Now you should have one very pretty tag with a very important message. I hide the white background layer so it posts nicely and save as a png. Voila you're done! I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• I used a tube I had purchased of Jamie Kidd's which I purchased at CILM. Please do not use this artist's work without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was by Rose go to blog to get it. The Daydreamer temp is 2nd one down. Thank you so much Rose!

• I used a mask 51 from Magsnificiant Creations blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Tramages Cirquelate, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Eye Candy 5 Impact Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelain, Filter Factory E Mo' Jellyfish.

• Font used was Adagio Pro which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be really easy I promise!

• Open up Rose's fab template, and delete Raster 7 as it's not needed. Change Canvas Size to 600 x 600 so we've got lots of space to work around in. You may need to floodfill the bottom (Raster 6 layer) white again. Just gives us plenty of space to see what we are doing. If you are using a PTU tube it is very important you change the overall image to be no more than 72 DPI. This is in accordance with the TOU that each of the PTU agencies impose. To do this, go to re-size, uncheck the "resample using" box mine is in the middle of the page, depends on which version of PSP you are using. Change the resolution to 72 and press OK. Alright now let's start and do what we need to with our layers lol, we'll work from the bottom up.

• On Raster 2 layer, let's colorize that to match whatever your tag colors are going to be, I chose to make that layer a darker purple. It doesn't show much but it depends on how you decorate your template as to what will show. Using the manual color correction tool, I selected a color from the first (current) image as the source and chose a dark purple color as the target. You can see a preview of what it will look like in that window so you can fine tune as need be. When happy click OK.

• On Raster 1 layer, the semi circle, I selected all, float, and defloat, added a new blank layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 11) into selection in that new layer. Select none and delete the original Raster 1 layer. While on that new layer you just created with that paper, go ahead and apply Tramages Cirquelate to that layer. It's important to have your background color a darker green of that paper, I used code #b0ce94.

• On Raster 5 layer, using your deform tool (or pick whichever you prefer). Move that layer down just a smidge so that it is flush with the edge of the noise layer (you won't see any of that green layer beneath it). Also you will need to stretch the side on each just a few pixels as there might be a space or two of the green showing beneath. I applied Filter Factory E Mo' Jellyfish to this layer just to give it some definition. I changed tile size to about 223 or so, totally style preference though, whatever you like on it.

• On Raster 4 layer, you may need to move this down some so that it is centered on that raster 5 layer. I changed the color of the Daydreamer text from white to a light purple (I used #d9aedf) using the manual color correction tool like before. We will do more with this layer but we need to do other stuff first lol.

• On Raster 3 layer, I changed the color of the butterfly doodle from the purple to a light green using the manual color correction tool. Select the current purple color as the source and a light green as target color. Select all, float, and defloat, apply Super Blade Pro Coconut Ice setting and select none. Now our temp starting to look pretty yes? But let's make the tag look gorgeous.

• I opened up the pretty flower #3 from the kit and paste as a new layer above the green semi-circle that you applied the Cirquelate filter to. I re-sized the flower to about 60% and moved over to the left hand side, right about where the text Daydreamer starts. Duplicate and move up and to the right a little so that the next one is just up a little on that semi-circle. Continue to do this until you have them all the way around. I ended up with a total of 6 of them. I applied a drop shadow using Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow to each of the flower layers. Here's a pic of what my settings looked like:

Once happy with all of them, start with the top most flower layer and merge down until all of the flowers are on one layer. Select all, float, defloat, contract selections by 1 and now go back up to the Raster 4 layer and using your eraser tool erase the parts of the Daydreamer text that the flowers hang over on. Do the same on the Raster 5 layer (the purple strip beneath the Daydreamer text). Now back on the Raster 4 layer (Daydreamer text) select all, float, defloat, and apply Super Blade Pro Coconut Ice setting to the Daydreamer text and once that is done select none. Now I applied a slight gradient glow using Eye Candy 4000. Here's what my settings looked like (first panel is settings of 5, 25, 100).

• Back on the flowers layer, add your tube as a new layer. We want this to be above the flowers layer but below the Raster 5 layer. This is a great template for use on those half body images. Re-size and position where need be.

• On the white background layer (beneath the purple glitter layer) and paste the glitter frame 5 as a new layer. Using your deform (or pick) tool, drag it so it fits around the top of the purple glitter layer nicely. Don't worry about how the bottom looks we'll fix that! Using your selection tool (set on rectangel) draw from where your where your purple rectangle and Daydreamer text are all the way across so that you have the bottom half of the glitter frame and once happy press delete. This is what it looks like to give you and idea.

• On white background layer again, select all, add a new blank layer and paste paper of choice in that new layer. I used paper 21. Apply mask 51 as linked above and merge layer group, duplicate and mirror the images, merge down those 2 masked layers together. Do any re-sizing or moving with your deform tool as need be.

• At this point re-size your total tag to what you want your ending tag size to be and sharpen any layers that need it and apply any drop shadows as need be. On the tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain and then the drop shadow that I used on the flowers which gave her a nice glow. Apply your artist © information and tagger's watermark. I also applied a very light gradient glow to these layers so that they stood out more. I always try to put the © info right on the tag itself to protect the information.

• Add a new layer and do your text. I used the font Adagio Pro in white and applied a pretty lime green super blade pro preset and then a nice gradient glow with drop shadow. Use whatever your preferences are for text, those are just what I used but that is all just personal preference. Once done with text, hide the white background layer and save your tag as a png and voila all done!

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used is by Lorenzo DiMauro which I purchased at his site please do not use this tube if you do not have an appropriate license to do so! This tube is in honor of my good friend Raqual and I wanted to do a tag and tut with it that would help get the important message to GET SMOOSHED!

• Mask I used was from Creative Misfits blog, you can get it here I used KyLie_Mask_mf01.

• I used a template by Punky Butts and you can get it here, I used template 49.

• I love filters lol, so here's what I used: Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Xero Porcelain, DSB Flux Bright Noise, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Tramages Tow the Line, Filters Unlimited 2 (used paper texture Wallpaper Fine, but any texture effect of choice will do if you don't have the filter).

• Gradient of choice, I used PinksHaveIt_CC.

• Fonts used were Black Rose and Harmonica, unfortunately Harmonica is pay so I cannot provide that one, but use whatever font you like.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be fun and easy!

• Open up Punky Butts fab template, duplicate the image and close out the original. Delete layers of Credits, Wordart Frame, Wordart, and dots, as pretty as they are, I ended up not using them. Turn visiibility of background layer on and I increased canvas size so it gave me more room to work and I could see what I was doing better. I changed my size to 850 x 650 lol I know that seems huge but we will re-size and crop and all that good stuff later. Okay now let's work from the bottom up on this fab template.

• On Strip layer, change that to a pink color that matches your tube, below is a screen shot of what mine looked like. After changing the color, I applied Filters Unilimted Paper Textures Wallpaper Fine. If you don't have the filter just use a different texture effect of choice (under Effects, Texture Effects, Texture). I then applied a very slight gradient glow using the filter Eye Candy 4000 using black and the pink I'd changed my Strip to. See my tag as an example.

• Hearts2 layer, using manual color correction tool again, I changed the color to the pink color I had changed the strip too, just change the source color from the blue to the pink color the hearts currently are. Once done, select all, float, defloat and apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting. If you don't have that filter, you can apply a nice inner bevel instead. After applying the SBP filter, I applied a gradient glow, just a nice subtle one like on the Strip layer. Repeat these same steps with the Hearts 1 layer.

• Heart right layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, I contracted the selection by 2 and flood filled with the gradient I chose to use. Select none and delete original Heart right layer, leave selections active. Let's go and paste the tube as a new layer now as long as we still have our selections. I didn't do any re-sizing on it and once happy with the position of the tube, invert your selections and press delete. I changed the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy). Select none and on the heartframe right layer, I used manual color correction tool to change to a pretty pink color, my target was #d9748d and applied an inner bevel of choice. Repeat these same steps on Heart left layer, I just had a different part of the tube as the focal on this one. See my tag for reference.

• Circle layer, before we do much modification to it lol, lets get our tube in there nicely. select all, float, defloat, invert selection, contract selection by 1. Paste tube as a new layer, re-size if you need to at all and once happy with placement, grab eraser tool and erase and part that hang over the circle on the bottom. Select none. Now click on the blue in that layer and I used manual color correct to change the color to one that matches the tag. Leaving selection active, I applied Filters Unlimited Paper Texture Canvas Fine. If you do not have that filter, you should be able to achieve similar pretty effect using the texture effects within psp. Select none. Now select the black area of the circle using your magic wand tool and apply Tramages To the Line, I just used the default settings. However I wanted to make them lines pink lol! So leaving selections as is, I zoomed in a bit and applied manual color correction. Reason for zooming in a bit is to easier select the color of those gray lines as the source, and the target be a pink color from my tag. See screen shot below for example. Select none when done with that and then I applied a gradient glow around the whole layer using the pink and black.

• Lil hearts top layer, using the manual color correction tool, I changed them to match the dominant mauve color I've been using in the tag. Once done to your liking, select all, float, defloat, and I applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice and then apply gradient glow as used before. Now we've got our template basically done, let's pretty it up with some minor effects, we're almost done woohoo!

• On the background layer, add a new layer, and flood fill with the gradient of choice you are using for this tag. Apply KyLie's gorgeous mask and once happy merge layer group. Do any re-sizing if need be of the mask layer. At this point I also cropped any of the excess and also re-size your tag to what you want your ending size to be. Sharpen any layers that need it. I applied Xero Porcelain to the main tube layer, using the default settings. Apply drop shadows to your layers at this point, I like to drop shadow pretty much every layer lol. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you don't have that filter the drop shadow in psp will work beautifully as well.

• Back up to the top of the layers, I added a new layer and typed the text "Get Smooshed" in place of the original wordart that came with the template. In light of the pink ribbon on the tube, I wanted to add an important message for this tag. I used the font Black Rose and once happy with placement, I applied DSB Flux Bright Noise, intensity set at 39, and Mix selected as well I applied a nice subtle gradient glow to the words to make them pop out a bit and a blurry drop shadow.

• Add the artist's copyright information and your tagger's watermark to the tag. All that is left is to do your text. I used Harmonica font using the gradient I had used in the tag previously and applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice and gradient glow and of course a nice blurry drop shadow. Close off the white background layer if you prefer transparent backgrounds and save as a png and voila all done, I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used was by Edward Reed which I purchased at CILM however he now sells his art at MPT and may only be used with appropriate license, please do not use this tube if you do not have a license to do so.

• Mask I used was from Creative Misfits blog, you can get it here I used KyLie_Mask_mf01.

• I used the scrapkit by Kim available also on the Misfits blog here.

• Frame I used was by Ivy's Inspirations and you can get it here I used frame 1.

• I love filters lol, so here's what I used: Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Xero Porcelain, Xero Mistifier, Andrews 10 Revolving Door, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Jayne Print, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be fun and easy!

• Open up new image 700 x 700, with white background, we can crop and re-size later as needed. Paste frame as a new layer, re-sizing as need be, I re-sized by 25%. Using your selection tool (set on rectangle) draw a selection within the bottom rectangle, the pink one, add a new layer undearneath the frame. You should have a selection that will cover that whole inside of the frame that way. Paste paper of choice into selection on that new layer you just added. I used paper 7 it had such pretty colors had to use it! With your selection still active, apply a gaussian blur of 5 and apply Andrews 10 Revolving Door with the default settings. Select none.

• On white background layer, add new layer, select all, and paste paper of choice into selection on that new layer. I used paper 7 again and applied gaussian blur of 5 again too. Apply mask and if happy with it merge layer group. I resized mine by 95% and moved just a smidge, needed to have it more centered with the frame.

• Add tube of choice to your pretty tag and any elements you like to have on it. Re-size your tag to what you want your ending tag size to be. Sharpen any layers that need it and also apply any drop shadows. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, however if you don't have it, drop shadow in PSP works just as great. On the frame I applied Xero Mistifier, just softened it up a lil bit, totally a personal preference of course. I also applied Xero Porcelain to the tube layer, gives it a pretty glow. I used just default settings on both filters.

• Time to do our text! What I did is on the layer underneath the frame (the one we applied the Andrews filter to), copy and paste as a new image, which gives you a pattern in your material palette. Choose your font and go to your material palette, have it set to pattern and find the pattern you just pasted as a new image. Type your text and on mine I applied Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting, adding a slight gradient glow using colors from my tag and of course a nice blurry drop shadow. Now all that's left is to add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark, hide your white background if you don't want it visible, save as a PNG and voila you're done!

Too Hot Hottie

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Template from Rose and Bru which can be found on Rose's blog here (post of March 8, 2010), thank you so much ladies for the awesome template!

• I used a tube of Lorenzo DiMauro which I purchased and is available for purchase at his site. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• Texture of choice, here is the one I am using in this tut, you're welcome to save. I've had this one for ages and I'm sorry I don't know where I got it, but if it's yours please let me know so I can either give you credit you deserve or remove, thank you ♥

• I used Filter Factory M Motion Trail, Tramages Tow the Line, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro (sg_Iris setting), Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow for filters. OMG I do love my filters lol.

• Font I used was Bilbo which is a pay font, so I cannot supply but any font of choice will do nicely.

Okay ready, let's go make a very simple tag!

• Open up Rose and Bru's fabulous template, duplicate the image and close out the original. Delete Raster 8 (credits layer). I left the mask layers as is, I was so lucky to find the tube I wanted to use matched the template so well lol but if yours is not the case, what you can easily do is colorize those layers to match colors in your tube using the manual color correction tool. Choose the original color as the source color and whatever color you want as the target. Sometimes it's necessary to play with it a little, but I do love that tool.

• I deleted the bottom left pink circle. On the Top Right Pink Circle, colorize using the manual color correction tool, have the pink that it currently is as the source, and change to a purple in your tube (I used #b7379b). Now in your material palette have your background set to a pink color (I used #eb6a8e) and apply Filter Factory M Motion Trail with default settings. I then applied Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, settings of 3, 25, 100 on the first tab and here is what my 2nd one looks like:

Duplicate this image, mirror and flip it, so it takes the place of the one we deleted. The reason I didn't just apply the same effects was because the motion trail didn't look the same I liked this one better LOL.

• Top and Bottom black rectangles, I just applied a gradient glow setting to these layers. Basically the reverse of the one I used above as the dominant colors basically reversed. Small heart layer and Hottie text layers, I used manual color correction tool and changed the colors to match the purple I used previously. On both layers, I applied a nice gel-like inner bevel setting and then another nice gradient glow setting (similar to the first one I showed example of). Gradient glitter circle, I didn't make any modification to at all.

• Black Circle, I applied Tramages Tow the Line and because my dominant colors are purple and black, I used the manual color correction tool to change the silver/white colors of the filter to be the purple I'm using. To do this, zoom in a lot and then bring up your manual color correction tool to select a silver color as the source, and your purple color as target. I actually had to do the manual color correction twice, play around with it see what works for your tag.

• Circle dot layer, again using manual color correction tool change the white to purple, I applied inner bevel setting that I used on the Hottie and small hearts layers. Then applied gradient glow as in example above.

• Center Pink Circle, I did select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and flood filled with a gradient that I created using my central black and purple colors, using angle of 45 and repeats of 3. Leave selected, delete the original center pink circle as we no longer need it. On that flood filled layer, add a new layer again, grab your texture that you are using, copy, and on your working canvas image, paste as a new selection in that new blank layer you just added. Select none. Now the color doesn't quite match so you know what we're going to do? Yes of course manual color correction tool LOL, I chose a color for the source, the one I used was #afb1cd and my target of the purple, turned it real pretty. I also changed the blend mode of the texture to Screen. You can do soooo much with textures and playing around with the blend modes!

• Pixel words I changed color to black using the manual color correction and then applied a gradient glow, just had a veryyyy slight one this time just the purple color, I don't want the words over-powered with color considering how little the words are.

• Whew! Template finished and doesn't it look pretty? Let's add our tube now. Re-size to your liking and place her in there nicely. I want to have her fit in nicely so layer we flood filled with our gradient, select all, float, and defloat, invert your selection and contract selection by 1. On the tube layer, grab your eraser tool and erase the bottom part of the tube that hangs over that circle. I just love that tube with this template, I swear it was created for her!

• All that's left now is do any finishing effects on the tag that need be and I didn't re-size the tag at all as the template was just perfect for my tagging needs and I try not to re-size if possible if there are any pixel fonts involved, it blurs them too much. So I just applied my drop shadows using Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, if you don't have that filter by all means use the drop shadow in PSP it works just as good! I applied Xero Porcelain to the tube, just to give her a nice glow to match the tag.

• Add the artist's copyright information and your tagger's watermark. I chose the font Bilbo for my text, and applied Super Blade Pro to it, using the setting of sg_iris. Which that one gave it a bit lighter purple than I liked so again using manual color correction tool, changed it to match closer to my tag, applied a gradient glow as used above, and of course a drop shadow. Close out the white background layer, and save as a PNG and voila you're done! Lots of effects and explanations and hopefully you learned a fun technique in this tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Magical Moments scrapkit made by the awesome Missy of Scraps With Attitude it is available for purchase at her store.

• I used a tube I had purchased of Rachel Anderson's which I purchased at CILM. Please do not use this artist's work without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was by Vicki and JayLyn go to Creative Misfits blog to get it.

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Tramages Glass, Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy Gradient Glass, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. I love filter effects!

• Font used was Swan Song which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be really easy I promise!

• Open up Vicki and JayLyn's template #3, duplicating image and closing out original. Although it was made for St Patty's Day it is very versatile to be used anytime woohoo! Delete the Credit and Wordart layer and unhide the background layer. I changed the canvas size to 700 x 600 so I had lots of space to work with. You may need to re-flood fill the the white background layer by doing this.

• On each of the glitter background layers, I changed the the color from the original to a coordinating color from the kit, I used #b2b8d8 using the manual color correction tool. Have your source be the glitter color and your target be the new color. I did this on each of the glitter layers (3 white in total and 1 green).

• On the Oval layer, select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice into that selection on new blank layer, I used paper 8. Select none and delete original oval layer. Repeat these same steps for Circle and Circle 2, I used paper 8 on this one as well.

• On the Rectangle layer, select all, float, and defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper 3) as a new layer, invert your selections and re-size the paper to your liking, I re-sized mine by 65%. Press delete, select none, and delete the original Rectangle layer. Template looking purdy I hope? Okay let's pretty up the tag some more!

• Paste your main tube as a new layer on top of the template, re-size as you find appropriate and arrange to your liking. Paste the image again and mirror, I moved mine down so she's above the new oval layer. I re-sized mine a little bigger so she showed up nicely, not by much so as not to distort the image or go against CILM TOU on image sizes. I changed the blend mode to Luminance. Also as her bottom half hung over the other side of the template, I used my rectangle selection tool to remove anything I didn't want showing. See my tag for reference.

• On Circle layer, duplicate that layer and apply Tramages Glass to the top copy and change the blend mode to Soft Light. Duplicate these steps for the Circle 2 layer.

• Add all other elements of choice now, I pasted the clock on to my template and changed the blend mode to Luminance (L), also the same step with the Magical Wordart supplied in the kit. I changed the blend mode to Luminance (L) too. I pasted element 10 on the top part of the rectangle and using the deform tool arranged it on there so it fit nicely. There were soooooo many stunning pieces in this kit I had a hard time choosing LOL.

• On the white background layer, select all, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice as a new layer, I used paper 3 and applied the mask. Merge layer group when happy with it. I did re-size my layer by 95% and then just used my deform tool if you want to make the edges just as you want them.

• At this point re-size your tag to what you want your ending size to be and do any sharpening as need be and also apply drop shadows as you like. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you do not have that filter, the drop shadow function within PSP works just as great. Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark now that you've re-sized everything. At this point I also applied Xero Porcelain to the main tube layer, just gives her a pretty glow.

• Only thing left is to do your text woohoo. I used Swan Song and created a foreground background gradient with 2 colors from my tag, applying an inner bevel to the text, then a nice clear Eye Candy 4000 Glass just to give it a nice clear shine. I also applied Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow (I swear I can't make a tag without it now lol!), and then just a nice blurry drop shadow. Your text effects are all just your personal preference. Close out the white background layer and save as a png and voila you're all done yipeee!

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits here, please leave some love if you download.

• Tube I used was by Anthony Guerra which is available for purchase through CILM, any tube that you wish to use will do though. Please do not use the tube I used without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was a collab template by Vicki and JayLyn of Creative Misfits, the one I used was Vicki_JayLyn_Temp1. Please leave some love if you download.

• I love filters so I used Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelain, and Tramages Cirquelate

• Font I used was Inspiration which is a pay font so I cannot supply, but any font of your choice will look beautiful!

Okay ready, set............ TAG (this is super easy I promise!)

• Open up Vicki and JayLyn's awesome template, duplicate image, and close out original so you can re-use again later. Delete the credits layer and change the canvas size to 624 x 550 so there's a lil more room to work. Unhide white background layer so you can see better what you're doing. Okay let's work our way up the template!

♦ Glitter Circle: change the color to black, using your manual color correction tool. Your source color would be the white currently there and target change to black. If happy press okay. I added a very light gradient glow here using a purple color in the tube. Settings on first page is 5, 25, 100 and on 2nd page here's what mine looked like:

♦ Circle: create a foreground-background gradient with 2 colors from your tube, I chose black as background color and foreground be the purple color prominent in my tag. Change the angle to 45 and repeats to 3 linear style. With the Circle layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with the gradient you created. Select none and delete original Circle layer. I applied Tramages Cirquelate to this layer.

♦ Stitched Circle: change the color from white to black, I used manual color correction tool to do this. I applied the light gradient glow I used earlier to this layer to make it stand out nicely.

♦ Glitter Rectangle: repeat same steps as with the Stitched Circle layer.

♦ Rectangle: select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with the gradient you created and used on the Circle layer above. Select none and delete the original Rectangle layer. I applied the subtle gradient glow to this layer.

♦ Raster 1 (the pixel words): change color from black to a lighter color, I used #9997e5 using my manual color correction tool.

♦ Glittered Small: change color from white to black using the manual color correction tool.

♦ Small Circle: select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with your created gradient. Select none and delete original small circle layer.

♦ Raster 2: apply inner bevel setting of choice and then I applied Eye Candy 4000 Glass to mine, just a nice clear one to give it some pretty shine. Also to make it stand out nicely I again applied Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, this time I modified it a bit, play around with whatever settings you like, I added more purple settings in mine and also some black. I also applied a blurry purple drop shadow to it.

♦ Raster 3: change the stars from the turquoise color to a purple color from tube, or color of choosing. I applied a gradient glow to this layer as well, changing to a black and then purple setting.

Doesn't our template look purdy? Alright the hard part is over, lets just pretty it up some.

• On your smaller circle layer, the one filled with the gradient you made and flood filled........ select all, float, and defloat and paste tube of choice in as a new layer. The tube I used did have a closeup with it so I used that and of course had to re-size down. Once happy with placement, invert selections, contract selections by 1 and press delete to remove all parts hanging over the circle. I changed the blend mode to Dodge on this one. Leave selections active for next step.

• Next paste main tube as a new layer, re-size if needed. Being that you still have your selections active, grab your eraser tool and erase and parts hanging over you don't want. Once happy select none. If need be sharpen and on my main tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain to the tube to give her a nice translucent glow. At this point do any drop shadows you want to do, I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but if you don't have that filter the drop shadow in psp works just fine too.

• Let's add our pretty mask! On the background layer, add a new layer and flood fill with your gradient you created and then apply the mask, I used szg587. If happy, merge layer group. I re-sized the mask layer by 95% and I noticed on the bottom the edge was a bit sharp so I used my smudge tool to push the layer a little so it blends in better.

• Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark. Also at this point I changed the dpi resolution to 72.00 as it's important that be done in accordance with CILM's TOU. Then I just added my text using font Inspiration with the purple color, I had applied my inner bevel setting as before and then Eye Candy 4000 Glass, and Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow with a nice blurry drop shadow.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• A scrapkit of choice. Normally I can supply a link, it was a free kit I got from Kat NKDA however the free kit called Black Widow that I used is no longer on there. Sorry! But any kit you choose will work fabulous I'm sure. I really only used 3 grunge-like papers and a floral embellishment.

• Rose's No Drama template which can be found on her blog, thank you Rose!

• I used a tube of Greg Horn's which I purchased and is available for purchase at CILM. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• I used a mask from the Creative Misfits blog, the one I chose to use was szg587.

• Filters I used were Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting) and Xero Porcelain.

• Font I used was Ketchup Spaghetti which you can get here.

• Also I used the following element which I'll share with you, it's in png format so just right click and save:

Okay ready, let's go make a really easy scrappy tag!

• Open up Rose's awesome template, duplicate and close out the original so you can use again later. I changed canvas size to 700x600 so I had lots of nice room to work with, we can always re-size and crop later as need be. On Raster 1 layer you may need to re-flood fill white with the re-sizing of canvas. Alright let's work our way up the template!

♦ Rectangle: Select all, float, defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper 12) as a new layer, invert your selections, re-size the paper to your liking I re-sized mine by 75%. Press delete, select none, and delete the original Rectangle layer. At this point you can add a nice eye candy gradient glow of your choosing. Mine looked something like this and on first page settings of 5, 25, 100:

♦ Octagon: Repeat same steps as Rectangle layer, this time I chose to use paper 6 instead. If it suits your tag, you may want to change around the colors of your gradient glow, instead of the magenta color first, have black and vice versa, all personal preference though.

♦ Bottom Left Rectangle: Change the color from gray to black. I used my manual color correction tool with these settings:

with manual color correction, easy thing to remember source is what it is now and target is what you want it to be. I love my manual color correction tool!

♦ Top Right Rectangle: Repeat same steps as Bottom Left Rectangle. Once you've done that merge down to the Bottom Left Rectangle, I have them doing same thing in the end so might as well be one layer LOL.

♦ Copy of Raster 2 (I know I skipped Raster 2 but there's a good reason lol), merge this layer down to Raster 2. Now that we've got one layer, using your manual color correction tool change the color of the text. Change your source color to white, and target to whatever you want, I used a nice pretty magenta color in one of the papers from the kit. Apply an inner bevel of your choosing and then I applied a gradient glow of choice. You may want to change the width down on the first tab of the Gradient Glow filter, I changed mine to width of 3.

♦ Top Left pink square: I made a gradient of the black and magenta colors using the foreground background gradient and I set the angle to 45 and repeats of 3. On your top left pink square layer, flood fill, it should look fine and dandy that way. Select all, float, and defloat, and I took the tube and pasted, re-size as you find appropriate and once you have her positioned in that square as you want, invert selections and press delete. Select none. Change the blend mode to what you think works best, I changed mine to Screen. Back on the top left pink square layer, apply a gradient glow of your liking.

♦ Bottom Right Pink Square: Repeat same steps as Top Left pink square. Only difference I made is had the tube's headshot facing inwards (see my tag for reference).

♦ Middle Rectangle: Select all, float, and defloat, paste paper of choice as a new layer, invert selections and re-size paper to liking (I re-sized at 75%), press delete, and select none. Delete middle rectangle layer. Add a gradient glow of your liking to this new layer.

♦ Wordart: Using color correction tool change the white to a color of choice, I used a magenta color again. After it's changed, select all, float, and defloat and apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting. I then also applied ........... you guessed it a gradient glow lol.

♦ Dotted Lines: Using color correction tool, I changed the lines from white to a magenta color and also applied a very light gradient glow of black and magenta.

Ahhhhhhhhhh it's looking pretty yes?

• Add your tube as you see fit. I think this tube worked perfectly in this tag because of the perspective of how she appears to be standing on the sign lol. Re-size your tube if need be. At this point add any drop shadows (I used mostly Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow but you can use the drop shadow function in psp too if you don't have the filter). Add whatever embellishments you want to the tag, I used the Bitch in Training charm and also a floral embellishment from the kit.

• On your white background layer, add a new layer and flood fill with the gradient you created earlier. Apply your mask and if happy merge layer group. I re-sized my mask layer by about 95% percent and then I noticed just a few stray edges on the sides so I used my smudge tool to blend it in a little.

• At this point, I re-sized my entire tag by about 90%. I know I know not much but I like my tags big LOL. After re-sizing add the artist's copyright and of course your tagger's watermark. I always do this step after re-sizing so that my © info is as clear as possible. Sharpen any layers that need it and I applied Xero Porcelain to the main tube layer, gave her a nice glow that way.

• Now all that is left to do is your text! I used the font Ketchup Spaghetti and just used the color black, applied an inner bevel along with Eye Candy 4000 Glass (tint on white), Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, and a nice drop shadow.

Wooohooo that's it! We're done, I hope you've enjoyed this nice easy template tag.

• Template I used was by Rose go to blog to get it.

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting, Eye Candy 4000 Glass, Eye Candy 4000 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 6 Perspective Shadow, DSB Flux Bright Noise. I know! I'm a filter addict lol.

• Font used was Koziupack which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go make a fabulous tag! This tutorial looks long but it's mostly just repetitive and descriptive.

• Open up Rose's fab template, duplicate the image so you can close out the original, delete the credits layer and change the canvas size (Image > Canvas Size) to 750x750. On the background layer, you may need to re-flood fill white. This just gives us lots of space to work with. We can re-size later as needed. Let's work from the bottom up on this template:

♦ Raster 2: select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice (I used paper 7) into selection on that new layer. On original raster 2 layer, expand selections by 5, press delete so it deletes the original gray circle and flood fill with color of choice, I used #31d3fd, a blue from the kit. Select none and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, I used intensity of 32 and set on Mix.
♦ Circle 1: I used the Manual Color Correction tool to change the color from black to a green in the kit. Here's a pic of my settings you can see how to change the color this way, I find this to be more precise than the colorize option:

now that we've colorized, select all, float, defloat, expand selections by 5, add a new layer and bring beneath the colorized circle. Flood fill that newly added layer with black and select none. Apply DSB Flub Bright Noise again, I used a higher intensity so it would show a little bit more with the darker color.
♦ Circle 2: repeat same steps as Circle 1 except changing the color to a blue instead of green.
♦ Rectangle: select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, paste paper of choice (I used paper 3) into selection on that new layer. On original rectangle layer, expand selections by 5, press delete to remove the original pink rectangle, and flood fill with a color of choice, I used a green from the kit. Select none and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, I used the original setting of intensity of 32.
♦ Sm Rec 1: using manual color correction tool as above, I colorized this layer to the bright green color. Change the Source to that lighter pink color and the target to the neon green and press okay. Apply a slight gradient glow in black to this layer. I used the "fat" setting changing the color to black and a width of 3.
♦ Sm Rec 2: repeat steps from sm Rec 1 layer
♦ Sm Rec 3: using manual color correction tool as above, I colorized this layer to the pretty blue color in the kit. Change the Source to the darker pink color and the target to the blue and press okay. Apply gradient glow setting as used above.
♦ Sm Rec 4: repeat steps from sm Rec 3 layer
♦ Hearts: I left hearts black and applied an inner bevel of choice. Wanting to make them shine a big, I applied a clear glass setting using Eye Candy 4 Glass.
♦ Freak Wordart: repeat same steps as for the Hearts layer
♦ Big Circle: select all, float, and defloat, paste paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 14), re-size as appropriate, I re-sized by 80%. Invert selections and press delete. Select none and delete original Big Circle layer.
♦ Pixel Words: add a new layer on top of pixel words layer. We are going to make a gradient with the blue and green dominant colors in this kit, have your foreground to the blue color and the background to green and on your material palette and select the gradient tab, choose the gradient of foreground/background change settings to this:

flood fill the entire new layer with the gradient. On the pixel words layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections. Go back up to the flood filled layer, and press delete. Delete the original Pixel Words layer. Okay you can see the flowers from the big circle show through? Let's change that! On big circle layer, select all float, defloat, add a new layer and flood fill black. Select none. Grab selection tool (set on rectangle) and drag so you have the black area you want to remove. Press delete and select none. Voila!
♦ Pink Strip: using manual color correction tool, change the source to the pink color of the pink strip and change the target to black. Apply a gradient glow to this layer, I change the black colors we had used previously in above steps to the blue color used in this kit.
♦ Dot Line: using manual color correction tool, change the white of the dots to a color of the kit, I used the green color.
♦ Big Wordart: using manual color correction tool, change the white of the wordart to a color of the kit, I used the blue color. Select all, float, and defloat, apply the super blade pro filter using the coconut ice setting. I also applied a gradient glow setting changing the the colors used to a green
♦ Frame: using manual color correction tool again, change the white of the frame to a color of the kit, I chose to use the blue in the kit. It already has a noise effect on it so nothing to change there.

• Whew! That's a bunch of steps but pretty in the end wooohoooo. Now let's add our mask. On the white background layer, add a new layer and change your gradient style radial instead of linear (4th button underneath preview of gradient) and I had mine set at repeats of 9. Apply mask and once happy merge layer group.

• Now let's add our tube in there. See my tag for placement and re-size as needed. Once happy let's get her fitting in there nice. On big circle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, and contract selections by 1. Grab eraser tool and erase the parts on the bottom that hang over the circle. With selections still active, on the frame layer, erase the parts of the frame that are on top of the tube. Once happy, select none. Duplicate the tube, bringing copy underneath original applying gaussian blur of 1 and on the original tube, change the blend mode to Soft Light.

• On one of the smaller circles, add the tube layer again, On the smaller circle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, contract selections by 1 and once the tube is moved into position you want, press delete and select none. Duplicate and mirror moving into position in other circle. I changed the blend mode on the tube on the blue circle to Burn and the tube on the green circle to Luminance (Legacy).

• Okay now let's do any cropping and re-sizing you need to and sharpen any parts that need it. Add drop shadows at this point in time to make things stand out nicely that need it. Add any elements to your tag as well. I created a cluster with some of the flowers in the kit and skull 4. I just love the cute skulls had to use some in there! Add the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark.

• All that's left is to do the text now. I used the font Koziupack, but just use your fave font of choice. I used super blade pro coconut ice setting as in the big wordart and then applied a gradient glow using the colors from the kit, mostly the green and black to give it definition and of course a blurry drop shadow.

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used were by Ismael Rac and available for purchase at AMI and may only be used with appropriate license, please do not use this tube if you do not have a license to do so.

• Mask I used was from Creative Misfits blog, you can get it here I used Musicmask2byjenny.

• I used the scrapkit Toxic Candyland by the talented Kristin which is available for sale at Scraps with Attitude.

• Template I used was one by Missy of Divine Intentionz, I used template 333.

• I used filters of: Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 6 Perspective Shadow, DSB Flux Bright Noise.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be fun (it looks long but I like to be descriptive)

• Open up Missy's fabulous template and duplicate the image, closing out original. Delete the credits layer and change size to 800 x 800 so we have lots of room to work. Unhide the white background, you may need to re-flood fill the white so it's completely covered on the background. Okay let's work from the bottom up on this fabulous template!

♦ Thin Rectangle - select all, float, and defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper 3) as a new layer, invert selections and press delete. Delete the original Thin Rectangle layer. Un-invert your selections (lol is that a word?) and then expand selections by 5. Add a new layer and bring underneath the layer you just created, flood fill with color of choice, I used a purple color from the kit. Select none and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, I chose to use setting of 49 and Mix.

♦ Circle1 - colorize to match a color in the kit, I chose one of the blues and then applied the DSB Flux Bright Noise again.

♦ Circle2 - I left this layer as was

♦ Small glittered circle1 - colorize to match a color in the kit, I chose to match to one of the pinks, as it already had a noise effect in it, I didn't have to do anything different there.

♦ Small circle1 - select all, float, and defloat, paste a paper of choice (I used paper 36), re-size down a little if you like and once happy with placement, invert selections and press delete. Select none and delete original Small circle1 layer.

♦ Small glittered circle2 - repeat same steps as small glittered circle1

♦ Small circle2 - on the new small circle1 layer as above, duplicate and mirror. Delete original small circle2 layer.

♦ Rectangle1 - select all, float and defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper glitter paper 4) as a new layer. Re-size to your liking and once happy, invert your selections and press delete. Select none and delete original rectangle1 layer.

♦ Rectangle2 - select all, float and defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper 26) as a new layer. Re-size to your liking and once happy, invert your selections and press delete. Select none and delete original rectangle2 layer.

♦ Circle3 - select all, float, and defloat, paste paper of choice (I used paper 41) as a new layer. Re-size to your liking and once happy, invert your selections and press delete. Select none and delete original circle3 layer.

♦ Circle4 - select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 1) as a new selection on new layer you just added. Select none and delete original circle4 layer.

♦ Wordart by Missy - I wanted to show all colors in kit here. So selecting every 4th letter with my magic wand tool (tolerance of 10), with doing every 4th letter, I had a total of 4 letters selected and I colorized the pink to the green in the tag. See my tag for reference. Repeat the steps for the rest of the pink letters in the wordart piece. Once you are done and happy with it. I selected each letter including the black letters and applied an inner bevel setting of choice. Once happy I applied a slight black gradient glow to the wordart piece, just to give it some definition and have it stick out some.

• Whew! Now that's done that's the hardest part I promise lol! Let's put our tube on this baby now. On the layer we put the black paper on, select all, float, defloat, and paste tube as a new layer. Re-size as needed. I had moved mine over to the left a little bit so the Toxic Candyland wordart would show nicely behind her. Now she hung over the circle a smidge, so I inverted selections, contract selections by 1. Grab your eraser tool and erase the parts you don't want showing. Select none woohooo looks great yes?

• On top of the black paper again, I pasted flame 2 as a new layer re-sizing as appropriate. On the black paper circle, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and going up to the flame layer, press delete and select none. I applied a gradient glow to the flame layer, gave it some black and then the blue again to make it stand out real pretty.

• Let's add our mask! On the white background layer, select all, add a new layer, and on that blank layer, paste a paper of choice (I used paper 36) into selection. Select none and apply mask of choice. I used Musicmask2byjenny. Merge layer group when happy with it. I re-sized the mask layer by 90%.

• At this point finish adding elements of choice, the possibilities are endless with this kit! There's a lot of fabulous elements in it. Once happy with the placements and everything, re-size your tag at this point to what you want your ending size to be. I duplicated the tube layer, and moved beneath the original adding a gaussian blur of 1 to the bottom one and on the top (original) tube I changed the blend mode to Hard Light. Add the artist's copyright information and your tagger's watermark. Sharpen any parts of the tag that need it after the re-sizing and add drop shadows. I used Eye Candy 6 Perspective Shadow, but if you don't have it, drop shadow in PSP works just great too.

• All that's left is the name on the tag! I used the alpha that came with the kit, was too striking not to lol. Each piece I pasted as a new layer and re-sized by 30% and moved them into position around the circle layers. See my tag for reference.

That's it! We're all done, I know it seemed long but hopefully worth it.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Lucky scrapkit made by the very talented QueenBrat it is available for purchase at her store.

• I used a tube I had purchased of Bam Bam's which I purchased at My PSP Tubes. Please do not use this artist's work without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was by PunkyButts go to blog to get it.

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Xenoflex Constellation, Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro (green glow setting from Kris of PaintShopStop), and Eye Candy 6 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Agincort which I cannot share, but any font of your choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be really easy I promise!

• Open up PunkyButt's fab template and duplicate the image so you can close out the original and use again later. Delete the following layers: Credits, copy of Promoted Selection, and Promoted Selection. Change the canvas size to 700 x 700. On the background layer, which is currently transparent, I flood filled with white, it's easier for me to see what I'm doing that way lol.

• Okay let's work our way up here. On Circle layer, select all, float, and defloat, then add a new blank layer, and paste paper of choice (I used paper 12) into selection on that new layer. Select none and delete original Circle layer. Go up to the Clovers layer and select all, float, defloat, then add a new blank layer, and paste paper of choice (I used paper 6 this time) into selection on that new layer. Select none and delete original Clovers layer.

• On white background layer, select all, add a new blank layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 11) into selection on that new blank layer. Select none and apply mask of choice, I used Arrowmask1byJenny from the set on the Creative Misfits blog. If happy with how it looks, merge layer group and if necessary do any size adjustments with either your re-size tool or using your deform tool in PSP. Tag looking purdy yes? Let's add some fun stuff to it now!

• I moved the Pbs-wordart layer to just above the Strip layer. If we don't do that it'll be over the tube and that just don't look right for this tag. Let's add our tube in there. To do this, I went to the big background circle layer, select all, float, and defloat and then I went to the layer with the wordart above the strip layer and pasted my tube as a new layer. Re-size the tube to your liking however you think she should be in there. When happy, invert your selections, expand selections by 2, and on the making sure you're on the tube layer press delete, then select none. The gold circle frame should be above the tube so she fits in real nice, if not do any adjustments at this point.

• Let's add that fabulous rainbow in there! I love rainbows so when I saw it in the kit I had to use it in this tag! On that big background circle, again select all, float, and defloat, paste the rainbow element as a new layer and re-size so it fits in nicely. I re-sized mine 50% and then dragged so that it looked nice and centered on top (see my tag for reference). Invert selections and press delete. I applied the Xenoxflex Constellation filter to this layer. See below for the settings I used:

• Now it's just time to add elements of choice, lots of fun goodies in this kit to choose from! I made a small cluster at top with the Beaded Dangle and Bow 4 and then also put Flowers 1 set on both sides of the template. Those roses were so pretty I just had to use em! Also I used Ribbon13 and put that in the strip. What I had done is rotated to the left by 90° and then re-sized by 50% and again rotated to the left by 8° and moved until it fit my placement. Then on the background circle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, and on the ribbon layer, press delete and select none.

• Now you just need to add any other effects and elements you like. I then re-sized my tag to what I wanted the ending size to be. I sharpened any layers that needed it and added my drop shadows using Eye Candy 6 Perspective Shadow, but if you don't have that filter, just use the drop shadow function in PSP, works just as well. I applied Xero Porcelain to the tube, but I noticed do to the effect some of the wording shown through her arm LOL can't have that! So I duplicated the tube and moved the copy underneath that fixed the problem and still gave her that nice glow.

• Add the artist's copyright to the tag as well as your tagger's watermark. I applied a slight gradient glow to the © info so it didn't blend in so much. To do my text, I used Agincort in colors of white and applied Super Blade Pro green glow setting that had been available through Kris at PSS, I've had it for ages and I love those settings! Then I applied a nice gradient glow with my Eye Candy 4000 as well as a drop shadow.

That's it! See very easy to do and I hope you've all enjoyed this tutorial.

Also here is another example only difference I did was on the rainbow layer I changed the blend mode to Screen. Only show to you to show you how fun blend modes can be, I'm addicted to them right now!

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Romancing the Heart scrapkit by Vaybs, please leave some love if you download!

• I used a tube of Jennifer Janesko's which I purchased at CILM. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• Mask of choice, I used one of the fabulous masks from Creative Misfits, the one I used was heartmask.

• I used Super Blade Pro, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Xero Mistifier, Xero Porcelain, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow are the filters I used in this tag.

• Brush of choice

• Font used was Van Rose, which unfortunately I cannot supply but use whatever font you like!

Okay ready, let's go make a really easy scrappy tag!

• Open a new image in your psp, 700 x 700 with a white background. We can hide that white background later when saving, I just like it so I can see what I'm doing easier. Open up element 26 and paste as a new layer, re-size if you wish. With your magic wand tool, select the white spaces inside the frame, you can look close at mine to see what I did. This part can be a little fiddly but it's worth it in the end I promise! Once you have all the white selected you can, expand selections by 5, add a new layer and move below the frame. Paste a paper of choice into selection on that new layer, I used paper 4. Keep selected.

• With your selection still active, go to Selections, Load/Save selections, and Save selections to alpha channel. Once you've done that then you can do the select none. I do this because after getting those selections, and I would be needing them later, this saves loads of time. On white background layer, select all, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice into selection on that new layer. I used paper 3. Apply heartmask and merge layer group. I rotated the mask 10° to the right, so that it lined up with the frame better. Looks purdy huh? I paste element 30 on top of mask layer but beneath the paper background you added inside of the frame.

• Let's add our tube! Paste the tube as a new layer above the paper background for the frame, for the tube I used, I mirrored it so that she was occupying the emptiest side of the frame, re-size to your liking. On the frame layer, go to selections, load/save selection, and load selection from alpha channel, you should see a picture of the selection. Invert selections, and on the tube layer, hit delete and leave selections active. This makes the tube look nicely nestled in the frame.

• Paste element 2 as a new layer above the paper background of the frame, re-size as needed and because you still have your selections active, press delete on that element 2 layer. This removes any overhang nicely. Invert your selections again (or un-invert whichever way you wanna look at it lol), add a new layer above that element 2 and flood fill with color of choice, I chose a pretty red from the frame (#7b0e0a is the one I used). Change the blend mode to Overlay. This will make the words from element 2 looks nice and red.

• You should still have your selections active for inside the frame. Add a new layer above the flood filled layer of color and add brushes of choice if you want. Totally up to you, it just added a little texture. Once happy, select none finally lol. Wow we're almost done! At this point I re-sized my tag to the ending size that I wanted and did any cropping. Sharpen any layers that need it at this point also.

• On tube layer, after having sharpened, apply Xero Mistifier with the default settings and then apply Xero Porcelain also with default settings. Apply Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow to all layers that need a drop shadow on them. If you don't have EC5 you can easily use the drop shadow within psp too. Add the artist's copyright so it's clear and legible and also your taggers watermark.

• All that's left is to add your text. I used Van Rose and applied the background and foreground in white and applied Super Blade Pro, I used a red beveled setting I had. If you don't have SBP you can subsititute whatever your fave font effects are. I also applied Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow and then a drop shadow. After applying effects and selecting none, I rotated text to the right by 10° two times. LOL once wasn't quite enough. Okay voila! We're done and I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial. Just hide white background if you want and save as a png.

• I used a tube I had purchased of Elias Chatzoudis's which I purchased at My PSP Tubes. Please do not use this artist's work without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was a collab template by Rose and Kristin and is available at Toxic Desirez, I used collab template 8.

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Xero Porcelain, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be a nice easy template tag woohoo!

• Open up Rose and Kristen's template, duplicate the image and close out the original, delete the credits layer. On bottom white layer, select all, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice (I used paper 12) into selection on that new layer. Apply mask of choice, I used MakeAMaskValentine MF10Slow2010 from the Creative Misfits blog. Merge layer group.

• Let's work from the bottom up on this fabulous template!
♦ Raster 18 - leave as is.
♦ Raster 17 - select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and make a foreground background gradient by using white as one of the colors, and a color of choice from the kit as another. I used #f53a5d and have the foreground background gradient selected with angle set to 45 and repeats of 3. Flood fill into that new selection on new layer. Select none and delete original raster 17 layer.
♦ Raster 19 - apply an inner bevel of choice, I left the color of text white and after applying inner bevel applied Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.
♦ Raster 1 - select all, float, defloat and paste paper of choice (I used paper 11) as a new layer. Re-size if you wish, invert selections and press delete. Select none and delete original raster 1 layer.
♦ Copy of Raster 4, Raster 4, and Raster 2 - leave as is.
♦ Raster 3 - select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 12) into selection on new layer. Select none and delete original raster 3 layer.
♦ Raster 10 - select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 3) into selection on new layer. Select none and delete original raster 10 layer.
♦ Raster 16 - delete.
♦ Raster 14 - select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 12) into selection on new layer. Select none and delete original raster 14 layer.
♦ Raster 11 - leave as is.
♦ Raster 14 - colorize to match your tube/tag. Click on your colorize and change your hue and saturation, I used hue of 248 and saturation of 231.
♦ Raster 15, 12, and 5 - leave as is.
♦ Raster 6 - select all, float, and defloat and flood fill with a color of choice (I used #f53a5d) and apply super blade pro coconut ice setting (or do effects of choice) and select none. I also applied Perspective Shadow filter to the hearts. Duplicate and mirror so you have hearts on both sides of the template.
♦ Raster 9 - colorize like you did with raster 14 above. I rotated mine 15° to the left and placed above the inner frame. See my tag for placement.

• Okay template is looking pretty right? Now we need to decorate it up and add our tube! On raster 12 layer, click inside that frame with your magic wand tool and expand by about 5. Click on the raster 14 layer and paste your tube as a new layer. I re-sized mine a little to make her just a lil bigger. Invert selections and press delete, select none. I changed the blend mode of that tube layer to screen. Play around with what you think looks best for your tag. Paste full sized tube on tag and mirror, have her off the right hand side.

• I added some of the fabulous elements here, this kit is chock full of fabulous elements! I used the arrows, re-sized and rotated to the left by 15°, then duplicated, mirrored, and flipped. I put the duplicate below the original and lined them up. Merge down, and then place under the frame and then placed a bow in the middle. Made a nice pretty frame cluster that way with the template. I also used the balloon bunch, re-sized and put on each side of the template.

• Once you are happy with all your elements and placement, re-size your entire tag to be your ending size. Be careful not to re-size down toooo much as it will make the valentines words in the background blurry, but I like big tags so it works well for me lol. At this point, sharpen bits and especially your tubes so they look nice and crisp. I added drop shadows with Perspective Shadow. With my main tube, I applied Xero Porcelain to make her glow nice. Then I duplicated the tube, bringing the tube layer below the original and applying a gaussian blur of 1. On the main tube, I changed the blend mode to Luminance (Legacy).

• Add the artist's copyright so it's clear and legible and your tagger's watermark.

• All that's left is adding your text to your tag. Normally I use a font but I just loved the alphas provided in this kit so I chose to use that. I used from Alpha 4 as it matched my tag so beautifully. For each letter, I re-sized by 20% and arranged around the bottom of the main oval. Once you are happy with the placement, hide your white background layer, and save as a png. Woohoo we're done!

• San Valentin scrapkit by Lizquis Scraps, please leave some love if you download!

• I used a tube of Elias Chatzoudis' which I purchased and is available for purchase at My PSP Tubes. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• I used a mask from the Creative Misfits blog, the one I chose to use was heartmask.

• I used Toadies What Are You, Filters Unlimited 2, Super Blade Pro, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, and Xero Porcelain. Whew! That's it, I do love my filters lol.

• Animation Shop if you choose to animate.

• Font I used was MC Sweetie Hearts which you can get at DaFont.

Okay ready, let's go make a really easy scrappy tag!

• Open up a new canvas, I used 700x700 with a white background so there was lots of space to work and see what we are doing. I opened up element marco_sv3 and pasted on canvas as a new layer, re-size to your liking (I did mine at 85%). Click inside the frame with your magic wand tool and expand selections by 15 or whatever number you like. On your white background layer, add a new layer and paste a paper of choice into selection on that new layer. I used paper 7. Select none.

• On white background layer, select all, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection on the new layer (I used paper 4). Select none and apply heartmask and merge layer group. Using your deform tool, and maximize your image you are working on I pulled the mask layer up some so that we can see more of the mask effect on top of the frame. I also pulled both of the sides in so it looked more closer to the shape of the frame. I re-sized my mask layer by 95% (that layer only, make sure you have unchecked re-size all layers in that box). Duplicate the masked layer, and move that duplicate below the original and apply Toadies What Are You filter (I just used the default settings of 20). Voila doesn't that look purdy?

• Alright now lets get our tube in there. I used a lovely Elias tube cuz well I just loveeeeee Elias' art lol and this matched well with the kit. Anywhoo take your tube of choice and paste on top of frame, re-size the tube to your liking. After you have situated how you want, on the frame layer, select all, float, defloat, and contract selections by 1. Grab your eraser tool and on the tube layer, erase any bits of the tube that hang over onto the frame that you don't want appearing. When done, select none and on mine some of the tube was still over the bottom of the frame so I just carefully erased that part.

• At this point I did my cropping and re-sizing that I wanted, and sharpen any layers that needed it. On my tube layer, I sharpened and then applied Xero Porcelain two times. (LOL I know you're wondering why twice, I just thought it looked like it need more glow that's all). Add any elements of choice. I used dec_alas and re-sized placing at top of heart but behind the tube layer and also dec_corazon_sv6 as well. Re-size as appropriate. That's about all I used for elements, I know it's pretty basic but sometimes that works lol. Add any drop shadows at this point, I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow for that but if you don't have the filter you can easily use drop shadow within PSP too.

• Add the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark. I always do this step after re-sizing so that the copyright information is most clear. Grab your text tool and let's add your text now too. I used the font MC Sweetie Hearts with colors of white and I applied Super Blade Pro a lovely gelly pink setting, then applied Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, and a blurry drop shadow, use settings of whatever are your favorites.

• I decided to animate! Duplicate those angel wings layer twice so you have a total of 3 layers. I chose to use a noise filter that comes with Filters Unlimited 2, called Add Noise (RGB) which is under Noise Filters, I like this one because it adds a bit of colorful sparkle, something just a wee bit different than DSB Flux one. Okay on one of the angel wings layers, (hiding the other two), I used the default which comes up on mine as 88. Hide that layer, and unhide the middle angel wings layer, repeat the plugin again, this time I used a setting of 84. Hide the middle layer, and unhide the 3rd layer of the angel wings that does not have a filter effect on them and apply the filter again using a setting of 80.

• Okay now that we got our tag done and our layers, for the animation, all we have to do is actually animate it. What I do, is make sure you have 2 of the angel wings layers hidden and all other layers visible, including the white background layer. I know some cringe at the white background layer but with Animation Shop if I have any sort of partial transparency it turns very bad so me and AS agreed if I used a white background it would play nice with me. Okay so with 2 of those layers hidden, right click in the title bar of your image, and choose Copy Merged. Over in Animation Shop, paste as a new animation. Go back to PSP, hide that angel wings layer, and unhide the 2nd one, do a Copy Merged again, and over in AS, paste after current (it should be a button in your toolbar). Repeat this process for the 3rd layer of the angel wings. Okay now I just do my optimization wizard, play my animation and save as a GIF.

Sexy Minx

This is the tag we'll be making so, here's what you'll need:

• Tube I used were by Jamie Kidd and available for purchase at CILM and may only be used with appropriate license, please do not use this tube if you do not have a license to do so.

• Mask I used was from Creative Misfits blog, you can get it here I used heartmask3byjenny.

• I used the scrapkit Vivid Crush by the fabulous Gina which is available for sale at Scraps with Attitude.

• Template I used was one by Missy of Divine Intentionz, I used template 285.

• I love filters lol, so here's what I used: Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Mura Meisters, Tone, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelain, VM Natural Speed.

• Font used was Quill Perpendicular Regular, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be fun (it looks long but I like to be descriptive)

• Open up Missy's template, duplicate and close out original, delete the credits layer. Change the canvas size to 700 x 700 and unhide the bottom background layer, flood fill white if necessary. Gives us lots of room to work with and enables us to see what we're doing easier. Okay let's work on the template from the bottom up:

♦ Large circle: Select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice into selection on the new layer. I used paper 32 for this one.
♦ Shape 1: I changed the color of this to black by flood filling with the black color of choice. On this layer I also applied Mura Meisters Tone filter. Now a little trick I did, select all, float, defloat, and then apply the filter. I changed the background and foreground to a purple color in the kit, the rest were all the default settings in the filter.
♦ Glittered Heart: I changed the color of this to a purple from the kit by using my manual color correction tool. Here are the settings I used:

I also applied Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow to the glittered heart, just to give it some more definition.
♦ Heart: I changed the color of this to a color in my tube, using the manual color correction tool, just like above by with the source color being the pink the heart already is and target the color of choice. After you're happy with your choice, select all, float, and defloat, and apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting to give a nice glassy effect.
♦ Thin Rectangle: Do the same steps as you did for the Heart layer.
♦ Dotted Line: Add a new layer, and flood fill black. On the original dotted line layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, and on the black flood filled layer, hit delete. Select none and delete the original dotted line layer. On the new layer of the black dots you now have, I applied a nice gelly inner bevel setting and then applied an Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow setting. I created one just for this tag based on the colors of the tag, using the blue/teal and black colors.
♦ Circle: Select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer, I used paper 6 for this one. Select none and delete the original circle layer. I applied gradient glow setting to the new circle layer we just created.
♦ Frame Background: Paste a paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 20), and re-size paper as appropriate, I re-sized by about 70% and then rotate the single layer by 15° to the left if you like. On the original frame background layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, and on new paper layer you just took care of press delete. Select none and delete original frame background layer.
♦ Glittered Frame: Repeat same steps as with the Glittered heart layer (turning it to a purple colors in the kit).
♦ Wordart by Missy: Okay I used manual color correction tool and using one of the pink colors in that wordart as the source, I used a blue color in the tube I used as the target. This changed all the pink colors to blue/teal to match the rest very nicely. We're not quite done yet though. With your magic wand tool, carefully click in each of the letters of the word sexayyy. (If you need to hide other layers if it helps you see things better.) After you have each of the letters selected, I applied a nice gelly inner bevel to mine, leave selected, and applied my Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow setting. On the other ones I had used a width of 3 but this one I changed to 5, play around with whatever you like best though.

• Alright! That's it for the template, looks beautimous doesn't it? Now lets go add that tube in there. I used a beautiful tube of Jamie Kidd's I've been meaning to use for ages lol. I pasted above the frame background but below the glittered frame layer, re-sized a little bit and rotated to the left by 15°. Looks good?

• On white background layer, select all, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into that new layer, I used paper 31. Apply mask to this layer and merge layer group if happy. I re-sized the layer by 95% and duplicated the layer, bringing the duplicate under the original. On the duplicate layer, apply VM Natural Speed using the default settings. It's possible that the effect got just a smidge too close to the edges. If you are not happy with that, use your smudge tool to push in the bits and do any correcting you like. Other option is before you apply the filter you can increase your canvas size again too.

• Add elements of choice to your kit now. I made a cluster with one of the padlock hearts, a key, and a pretty crayon and bow. There are loads of great elements in this kit! This is where you can make the tag unique to you.

• Re-size the tag to your final tag size, and sharpen parts that need it, especially the tube. At this point, I duplicated the tube, bringing the duplicate beneath the original, applying a gaussian blur of 1 and also the filter of Xero Porcelain. On the original tube, I applied Xero Porcelain there too and changed the overlay mode to Screen. I also applied Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow to both layers. Apply the Perspective Shadow to all layers that need it at this time.

• Add the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark so that they are clear. I always do this after re-sizing so that the information doesn't lose any clarity to it. All that is left is to do the text, I chose to use Quill Perpendicular font and applied an inner bevel and a gradient glow setting of choice, I used a different one than before, I just kind of switched the colors around so that the blue/teal contrasted nicely with the purple in the text, and then of course a drop shadow.

Woot! That's it we're all done. I know this looked long but I hope you hung in there and enjoyed the tutorial.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• A Softer Look at Love scrapkit made by the very talented QueenBrat it is available for purchase at her store.

• I used a tube I had purchased of Maxine Gadd's which I purchased at My PSP Tubes. Please do not use this artist's work without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was by Missy of Divine Intentionz, I used template 40.

• I used a mask from Creative Misfits blog, please check out the masks there, they are awesome!

• Filters I used were Xero Porcelain, Eye Candy Gradient Glow, Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

• Font used was Constanza which I cannot share, but any scripty font will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be fun I promise!

• Open up Missy's fab template and duplicate, close out the original, deleting the credits layer. Change the canvas size to 600 x 600, we can re-size later if needed. Flood fill the background layer with white, it makes it easier to see what we are doing. Okay let's work from the bottom up on the template by doing the following:

♦ Larger Circle: select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer. Select none and delete the original layer. I used paper 2 and because the tube I used was a bit on the purple/mauve side, I used my manual color correction tool and change the tone of the paper to match the tube.
♦ Small Circle: I did everything the same as with larger circle except I used paper 7 and again used my manual color correction tool to change the tone to match my tube.

♦ Larger Heart: Select all, float, defloat, add new layer and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer. I used paper 13 on this one. Select none and delete original larger heart layer.

♦ Smaller Heart: Repeat same steps as with Larger Heart, I used paper 15.

♦ Dotted Line Heart: Add a new layer and flood fill that layer with a color of choice, I used a purple color from one of the papers. On the Dotted Line Heart layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and on the flood filled purple layer select delete. Delete original Dotted Line Heart layer. Apply an inner bevel of choice to the new layer, I also applied Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow.

♦ Small Hearts: Add a new blank layer and flood fill with purple color again. On original layer, select all, float, defloat and invert selection, press delete and select none. Delete the original Small Hearts layer. On the layer you just created, select all, float, defloat, apply Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting). I used the 3rd shape from the top but use whatever shape setting you like best in the filter.

• Okay then it's starting to look really purdy right? Now let's put our tube in there. Under the small hearts layer, paste tube of choice as a new layer, and re-size as needed. On the smaller heart (the one that has a cream color tone in my tag), select all, float, defloat, invert selections. On the tube layer, erase any parts that hang over the edge you don't want showing.

• I applied a slight gradient glow to each of the circle and hearts layers, use whatever colors and preferences you think looks good. On the white background layer, select all, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer. Apply mask of choice, I used the one called "heartmask" in the pack of masks I linked you to above. Merge layer group. If you wish to, you can use your manual color correction tool to adjust the color to match your tag the best. I used my deform tool to make the mask fit best to the tag.

• Add elements of choice from the fabulous kit. See my tag just as a guide, make the tag your own, there is a ton of beautiful elements in the kit for you to choose from. On a couple of the elements I did use my manual color correction tool to match up close to the rest of the tag. I applied drop shadows as necessary to the various layer. Do any cropping you need at this point and re-size if you wish. I sharpened and applied Xero Porcelain to the tube. Add the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark.

• All that's left is the text! I used font Constanza and applied a nice inner bevel and gradient glow with a drop shadow, rotating it to fit into the tag of the Love Note element I used. If needed use your deform tool to adjust.

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• Oh My Heart scrapkit made by LaCarolita available for download. If you choose to download this kit, please 'leave some love' on her 4shared in appreciation.

• I used a mask from Weescotslass mask 352, please leave some love if you download.

• Tube I used was by Barbara Jensen which is available for purchase through her site, any tube that you wish to use will do though. Please do not use the tube I used without a proper license to do so.

• Template I used was by Missy of Divine Intentionz, the one I used was template 326. Please leave some love if you download.

• I used a lot of filters in this one lol, I used Super Blade Pro (coconut ice setting), Eye Candy 4 Glass, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Xero Porcelian, DSB Flux Bright Noise, and VM Extravaganza Holidays in Egypt. Whew! I do love my filters LOL.

• Fonts used were Kayleigh and Lesline, but any font will do.

Okay ready, set............ TAG (this looks long but really it isn't)!

• Open up Missy's beautiful template, duplicate and close out original. Change the canvas size to 700x700 so we have lots of space to work. Unhide the bottom background layer and flood fill white. Delete the following layers: by Missy (© layer), wordart by Missy, glittered heart 2, glittered heart, rectangle2, and rectangle1.

Alright let's start from the bottom up, here are the step I did as the layers are, one of the beautiful things of Missy's templates is that she has them 72dpi so if you use a PTU no worries on that part.

♦ Medium Circle: 1 & 2 = leave as is
♦ Thin Rectagle: select all, float, defloat and flood fill with a red of choice and apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice. On mine it turned a bit lighter than I wanted so I used my manual color correction tool and it darkened it up beautifully
♦ Small Heart 3, 2, & 1: Merged down so those 3 layers are all one layer, select all, float, & defloat and flood fill with the color black. Select none, and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, I clicked on Mix once and with a number of 62
♦ Circle 1 layer: Select all, float, and defloat, flood fill with color black and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise, same setting as before
♦ Circle 2 layer: Select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 7 from LaCarolita's beautiful kit) into selection on new layer. Select none and delete original Circle 2 layer
♦ Dotted Circle: Leave as is
♦ Circle 3: Select all, float, defloat and flood fill with black
♦ Circle 4: Select all, float, defloat and flood fill with a dark red color of choice, I used a color from the paper that I added in place of Circle 2 above.
♦ Small Glittered Circle 1 & 2: On each of these layers, select all, float, defloat and flood fill with a red color of choice. Select none, and apply DSB Flux Bright Noise with same settings as above
♦ Small Circle 1 & 2: Select all, float, defloat and flood fill with black on each of the layers, select none
♦ Heart 1 & 2: Select all, float, defloat, and flood fill with red color of choice and then apply Super Blade Pro coconut ice setting as before with the Thin Rectangle layer. Here I also used my manual color correction tool to fine tune to the red color of choice.

• Okay that's it for the template layers, it's starting to look purdy I hope? Go back down to the white background layer and select all, add a new layer, and paste into the selection on the new layer a paper of choice, I used paper 7 again. Select none and apply mask 352 from weescotslass, and if happy with placement and everything, merge layer group.

• Now let's add some effects and stuff. On medium circles 1 & 2, I applied Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow of my own making. I had the setting be some red with black on the outside, just play around with whatever you think looks good for your tag. I did the same thing with the thin rectangle and hearts 1 & 2, but of course had to reverse those colors in my gradient glow settings. On the Circle 4 layer, I applied VM Extravaganza Holidays in Egypt, I modified the default settings by choosing size of 45 and mode left at 0.

• Okay let's add the tube in there! On Circle 4 layer, paste tube as a new layer and adjust and re-size as needed to your preference. Now on the tube I used, she hung over the bottom a little so on the Circle 4 layer, I did select all, float, defloat, invert selections. Then on the tube layer, grabbed the eraser tool and erased the bits that hung over so looks all nice and perfectly set in there.

• At this point, I re-sized the entire tag to the ending size I wanted, sharpening any layers that need it. On top of the hearts layer I just put the text Love and Me on each using font Kayleigh. The effects I used on that text was a nice gelly inner bevel setting, Eye Candy 4 Glass (a nice clear setting), Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. I applied Xero Porcelain to the tube, added elements of choice and applied Perspective Shadow to any parts that needed a drop shadow.

• Only thing left was to add artist's copyright and your taggers watermark. I always do this after all re-sizing is done so the © is as clear as possible. I used font Lesline for the text and for effects on this one I did an inner bevel, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow of choosing, and a drop shadow.

That's it! Woohoooo! I know it was a little fiddly but nice result in the end. I hope you've enjoyed my tutorial.

That's Amore

This is the tag we'll be making, another nice easy scrappy tag. So, here's what you'll need:

• I used the scrapkit That's Amour by the very talented Stina please go to her blog to check out her stores. Click here to go to Stina's Blog.

• Mask I used was by Vix, you can get it here under the Goodies section, I used mask 320, all her masks there are fab!

• The filters I used were Toadies What Are You, Xero Porcelain, Xero Mistifier, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, and Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow.

• Pretty brush of choice.

• Font used was Goldy's Valentine, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go this is an easy tag that is just stunning in the end!

• Open a new image with a white background 700 x 700. I like to start big so I have lots of room to work around in. Paste frame of choice (I used Knotted Heart 02) as a new layer, re-sizing as appropriate. Click inside frame with magic wand and expand by about 10. Underneath the frame add a new layer and paste paper of choice (I used paper 27) into selection on new blank layer.

• On white background layer, select all, add a new layer and paste paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 25). Apply Vix' pretty mask and merge layer groups. Duplicate and move copy below mask and apply Toadies What Are You (default settings) to that copy. On original masked layer, I changed opacity to about 48.

• Okay now here is the sequence of adding of elements, use whatever you like, this kit is HUGE and offers sooooo many options. I added Glitter Spill 1 above masked layer, but below the paper inside the heart frame. Looks purdy? Good let's continue on. On the paper layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and use brush of choice on that new layer. I used a pretty floral one with a red from the poser tube I used from the kit. With having it selected on just the paper, you will only apply the brush inside there.

• Above heart frame, I pasted wire heart 2, re-size as needed. Move to the left hand side of tag (see mine for placement ideas if you like). Paste dove heart 2 next, re-size as needed. Paste Sparkles 2 as a new layer, then the rest of the elements as you like, again re-sizing as you go so you know what looks good. Use my tag to give you ideas but make it your own!

• Now I opened up the clouds element and used the manual color correction tool to color the clouds as I wanted to match them up closer to the tag. I chose one of the main blues in the clouds as the source color and the target to be a lighter red from the masked layers. You may need to play around and try a few to get what you like. Paste onto tag as a new layer, re-size as needed and then I duplicated and mirrored them so it gave more cloud cover to speak.

• Using one of the many available wordarts, I pasted as a new layer and lined up on the clouds. I applied/created a gradient glow through Eye Candy 4 to give it more definition. Now make sure to add your tube in. I used one of the posers in the kit, it just fit so well this time, no need to waste time looking through all my tubes lol. Re-size as you like.

• At this point, I re-sized my tag to my ended tag size, sharpening whatever layers need it and applying drop shadows so it looks all nice. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, but if you don't have the filter, you can achieve same effect with drop shadow within psp. On the tube, I applied Xero Porcelain and then Xero Mistifier (both using default settings) gave her a nice muted glow.

• All that's left is to add the copyright information. In my tag, as per the TOU file with the kit, gave credit to the poser maker and noted kit was by Stina and then my taggers watermark. Add your text, I used Goldy's Valentine size 48 and applied an inner bevel, applied same setting of gradient glow as created earlier, and a nice blurry drop shadow. Then I rotated the text 70° to the left and placed on the tag element. Hide white background layer and save as a png and voila you're done!

This is the tag we'll be making, another nice easy scrappy tag. So, here's what you'll need:

• I used the scrapkit Devilish Love by the very talented Jules of Jules Junk which is available for sale at Scraps with Attitude.

• Tube I used was by Elias Chatzoudis and can only be used with a license which can be obtained at My PSP Tubes however any tube you want to use will do.

• I used 2 masks by Vix (#108 & 326) and you can get them at her site under the Goodies section.

• The filters I used were Mura Meisters Tone, Xero Mistifier, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, and Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow.

• Font used was Liorah BT, but use whatever font you wish.

This is quick and easy I promise!

• Open up image 700x700 and paste frame of choice as a new layer, I used frame labeled element 35, re-size as needed, remembering this is a full-sized kit so more re-sizing may be necessary. Click inside the heart frame and expand selections by about 10, add a new layer below the frame and paste paper of choice into new layer selection, I used paper 2. On this layer (with everything still selected) I applied Mura Mesiters Tone to the paper, making sure that black was my foreground color). Once applied, select none.

• Okay now let's put tube in there, I used one of Elias' beauties, and pasted tube above that paper layer we just added but below the frame. Re-size the tube if needed. On tube layer, select all, float, and defloat, go to the frame layer, grab your eraser tool and and erase the parts of the tube that hang over the top part. This will make it look like she is coming out of the heart frame. Select none. Depending on your tube, it may be necessary to remove any excess on the bottom too, just carefully erase those bits.

• On white background layer, paste paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 9), and paste it twice as we are using 2 different masks here, but hide one of them, this will allow us to see better what we are doing. On the bottom most one, apply mask 108 and merge layer group. On mine I used my deform tool to pull at the masked layer until I had it just right. Once happy go to the second paper and unhide, apply mask 326 and merger layer group. I re-sized this layer about 87% and moved it so it was more centered in the tag. Beautimous!

• At this point I re-sized my tag, sharpening my tube layer of course. At this point add some of the gorgeous elements that Jules provides. Now on the wordart piece, I used my freehand selection tool to make 2 layers of the 2 words, widened the space and put the heart element in the middle, lining them up how I wanted and then merged the heart element and the 2 words back into 1 single layer. Add a nice drop shadow to layers that need them, I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow. On the tube layer, I applied Xero Mistifier to give the tube a nice muted glow.

• Add the artist's copyright and your taggers watermark and then add your text. I chose to use Liorah BT but use whatever is your font of choice here.

• Pink Chocolate scrapkit by Fantasy Moments, please leave some love if you download!

• I used a tube of Rion Vernon's which is available for purchase at CILM. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• I used template 11 by Babe and you can get it at her blog, please leave some love if you download.

• I used Xenoflex 1 Shower Door, Mura Meisters Copies, Eye Candy Gradient Glow, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow for filters.

• Fonts used were Harmonica and Oh La La which unfortunately I cannot supply but use whatever font you like!

Okay ready, let's go make a really easy temp tag!

• Open up Babe's awesome template, duplicate the image and close out original and delete the credits layer. On the dotted half circle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert select, paste paper of choice (I used paper 17) as a new layer. On the new layer, press delete, select none and delete original. Do the same with small rec inner layer, I used the same paper. Repeat same process with small rec outer layer this time use a contrasting color or paper, I used paper 8.

• On Circle layer, select all, float, defloat, and invert selection, paste paper of choice as a new layer, re-size paper if you like. I chose to use paper 5, press delete, select none, and delete original circle layer. I repeated these same steps on the bars and large rec outer layers. Do the same also with large rec inner layer, on that layer I used paper 4. There we go starting to look purdy right?

• Okay at this point I added a very slight gradient glow to a few of the layers (the circle, the outer large frame, and the bars layers). I just used Eye Candy 4 gradient glow and a brown color with a width of 3, use whatever you think looks good for your tag though! Now lets add our tube of course! I had mine on the layer large rectangle inner layer but below the frame. Once you have her re-sized and situated how you like, select all, float, defloat and on the large rectangle outer layer, grab your eraser tool and erase the bits of the frame that you want to erase if any. Select none.

• At this point I re-sized my tag to how I want it to be in the end. I know it's early, but it's because of the next step lol. On your bars layer, add a new layer and let's add some text, I chose to use the text "Angel Eyes". Using your Oh La La font (or whatever pixel font you like best) I typed those words, select none (try to have it somewhere in the middle of the image) and go to Mura Meisters Copies filter and I used the tiling setting, I didn't change any of the default settings except I changed the tile gap to 2. Apply the filter. Now take your mover tool and line up one of them so it fits in one of the bars nicely. Using your magic wand tool, on the bars layer, click inside so that the 1 bar is fully selected, invert your selections. On the text layer that you just applied the filter to, press delete. You should now have a single line of Angel Eyes text. Duplicate 3 times so you have a total of 4 layers of this line. Move each of of them to each bar layer, lining up as closely as possible. Once happy, merge the 4 lines together so you have one layer of the text.

• Add any elements of choice now, I just added a few bows and stuff to pretty it up a little. Now close out your white background layer, and go to copy merged, this will copy everything on the canvas that is visible. On the white background layer, paste as a new layer. You may need to adjust that bottom layer so it lines up with the rest of the tag more closely (I had to move mine up a little bit). At this point I did widen my canvas a bit for the next bit. On that layer you just pasted apply a gaussian blur of about 15 and then apply Xenoflex 1 Shower Door, I just used the default settings.

• Now add any kind of drop shadows you wish (I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow on some of them). Now add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark. All that's left is to add your text. I applied a nice gel inner bevel setting, gradient glow, and a drop shadow for effects on that. Use whatever your favorite font settings are.

• Important! Because you used a template, be sure that you re-sized the DPI to 72.00 if you used a PTU image, this is something most agencies require. To do this, go to re-size your image, uncheck resize sampling, and change the resolution to 72.00 and press OK.

• Alright that's it! Very easy tag using a template and free scrap kit. Hide the white background layer if you like transparent tags and save as a png and you're all done. I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial.

Wahoooooo I made up a new layout. I loved my other one but I felt Valentines coming soon...... I should dress for the season lol. I hope you like it. It's only the 2nd one I've done, I tend to be a bit of a perfectionist on these types of things, but was very pleased with how it turned out.

• I used the scrapkit Je t'aime mon amour by the very talented Tootypup please go to her blog to check out her stores. Click here to go to Tootypup's Blog.

• Tube I used were by SwtMeloDe and can only be used with purchase at SwtMeloDe however any tubes you want to use will do.

• Mask I used was by Babe, you can get it here I used mask 13, all her masks there are fab!

• Template I used was a collab template by Rose and Kristin and can be obtained here.

• The filters I used were DSB Flux Bright Noise, Xero Mistifier, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, and Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow.

• Font used was Van Rose, but use whatever font you wish.

Okay ready, let's go!

• Open up Kristin and Rose's template, duplicate and then close out original. Change canvas size to 700 x 600. Delete the credits layer and on the white background layer, flood fill with white if needed. Very important here, change the DPI of the image to 72.00 DPI. If you don't know how to do this, go to re-size, uncheck "resample using" and change the resolution to 72.00, click OK. This is important if you are using PTU images as the template image DPI was set at 200 and most agencies require no more than 72.00.

• On glittered rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, and paste a paper of choice into new layer (I used paper 1). Select none and delete glittered rectangle layer. Apply DSB Bright Noise to the new layer you created, I used a setting of 41 and in Mix.

• On Rectangle layer select all, float, defloat, add a new layer, and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer (I used paper 14). Select none and delete original rectangle layer. In your material palette, set your background color to a red color of your choice (I used one from the red paper I just used). On layer above dotted rectangle, add a new layer and flood fill the whole layer with that red in your background palette. On dotted rectangle layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections and then on the red layer you just flood filled, press delete. Select none and delete original dotted rectangle layer. Do the same with the wordart, dotted lines, and pixel word layers. I added a nice inner bevel to the new dotted lines and wordart layers.

• Paste tube on image, I had mine so she took up most of the oval. On the oval layer, select all, float and defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection on new layer. Using the manual color correction tool, I changed to match a light beige from the tube. On the Hearts layer, add a new layer and flood fill with a color of choice. On the original hearts layer select all, float, and defloat, press delete on flood filled layer, select none and delete original hearts layer. Apply DSB Bright Noise to the new hearts layer.

• On white background layer, paste paper of choice (I used paper 11a), re-size to your liking and apply Babe's mask. Once happy with it merge layer group. Add other elements you wish to use, there were so many fab elements in Tootypup's kit I had a hard time choosing! At this point re-size your tag to your final ending size and add any drop shadows needed, I used Perspective Shadow. I also applied Xero Mistifier to my tube to give her a muted glow.

• Add the artists copyright information and your taggers watermark and then just your text and that's it! I hope you've enjoyed this tutorial.

• I used was valentine template 13 by the fabulous Stef of Freebie Friends, please leave some love if you download.

• I used Filter Factory E Metal Peacocks, Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow, Eye Candy 4 Glass, Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow, and Xero Porcelain in this tag. Whew! I love my filters lol.

• Font used was Valentina JF which unfortunately I cannot supply but use whatever font you like!

Okay ready, let's go make a really easy temp tag!

• Open up Stef's beautiful template, duplicate the image and close out the original. Delete the credit layer and change the canvas size to 700x700. I added a layer, flood filled white and sent to bottom so I was able to see what all I was doing. On Rectangle 1 layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, paste a paper of choice as a new layer. I chose to also re-size by about 80% (I used paper 1). Press delete to remove excess, select none, and delete original Rectangle 1 layer. Repeat these steps for Rectangle 3 layer. Repeat these steps for Rectangle 2 and 4, this time I used paper 5.

• On Heart layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selections, paste a paper of choice as a new layer (I used paper 3), resize a little if you like, press delete and select none. Delete the original Heart layer. I deleted the Raster 2 layer (the Be Mine words). On Raster 3 use your manual color correction tool to change the color to color that matches your background, I chose to use a pink from the paper I used for the heart. Do the same for the Raster 4 layer. I applied a Perspective Shadow setting to each of the words, made them pop out a little more. If you don't have that filter you can achieve similar effects with drop shadow from within psp.

• Change your background color to a color of choice, again I used a pink color from the paper in the heart layer I just pasted in. On each of the black frame layers (Raster 1, Rectangle Frame 2, etc) and clicking on the black part flood fill with that color. I applied an inner bevel setting, use whatever one you think fits well. Do this on each of the black rectangle frame layers. On the black heart frame layer, I just used a turquoise color from the paper I used in 2 of the rectangles. Also apply that inner bevel setting here.

• Okay let's put our tube in there. Paste tube on top of the pink heart layer you just created in above steps. Select all, float, defloat, expand by 1 pixel, invert selections, and on the tube layer grab eraser tool and erase any bits of the tube hanging over you don't want showing. Kind of have her peeking out of the heart so to speak.

• On each of the paper layers (the heart and the 4 rectangles) apply Filter Factory E Metal Peacocks filter. I just used the default settings but play around with whatever you like. Add any elements you want at this time, I just added a bow at the bottom, I know not a lot of elements in this tag but sometimes that works lol!

• On white background layer, select all add 2 new layers. On one of them paste a paper of choice into selection, I used paper 21 and do the same thing for the 2nd blank layer you just added, this time I used paper 22. Apply WSL mask 120 to both of the layers, merge layer group on each of them. I flipped and mirrored one of them, using move tool to arrange how you like.

• Okay re-size your tag at this point to how you want ending size to be. Add artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark if you use one. Sharpen any layers that need it (especially the tube!) and on mine I applied Xero Porcelain to the tube, duplicated the tube, applied a gaussain blur of 1 to the tube copy, moving it below the original tube. On the original tube layer, I changed the blend mode to lighten. This is all just a preference and it may differ depending on what tube you used.

• Okay! Just add your text however you like. I chose to do mine in a turquoise color from one of the papers, added an inner bevel, gave an Eye Candy 4 Glass setting and created an Eye Candy 4 Gradient Glow using 3 colors from my tag with a drop shadow. Voila! That's it and I hope you've enjoyed this very easy tutorial♥

Crazy 4 Your Love

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• S.W.A.K. scrapkit made by the awesome QueenBrat it is available for purchase at her store. This kit is chock full of awesome goodies!

• I used a tube of Jamie Kidd's which can be purchased at CILM. Please do not use this tube if you do not have appropriate license to do so.

• I used mask 320 from Vix, she has so many great ones! Go here to get them and please read and follow her TOU.

• Template I used was template 317 by the talented Missy of Divine Intentionz, please leave some love if you download.

• I used a few filters in this one lol, they were: Tramages Tow the Line, Eye Candy Gradient Glow, Xero Porcelain, and Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow

• Font used was Heartland Regular which can be found at daFont or you can use font of your preference.

Okay ready, let's go make a purdy taggy!

• Open up Missy's template, I re-sized the canvas 700 x 700 so we had lots of nice space to work with. I also unhid the bottom layer and flood filled white so it made it easier for me to see what I was doing. Delete the credits layer. On top of background layer, select all, float, defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into new layer, I used paper 12. Apply Vix' beautiful mask and merge layer group. I deleted thin rectangle layer as I chose not to use it.

• On Circle1 layer, select all, float, defloat, add new layer, and flood fill with a color from your tube (I used a nice red from her dress). Apply Tramages Tow the Line filter with default settings to the red circle. Select none and delete original Circle1 layer. On Oval layer, select all, float, defloat, invert selection, paste paper of choice (I used paper 1) re-size a little if you wish and then press delete. Select none and delete original Oval layer.

• On Circle2 layer, select all, float, defloat, expand by 1, flood fill with color of choice (I just used black) and select none. Do same with Circle 3 layer and I just used the red color from before again. I left Raster 2 as it was. On small circle layer, select all, float, defloat and paste paper of choice (I used paper 6) as a new layer, re-size a little if you like. Invert your selection and press delete. Select none and delete original small circle layer. I left small circle 2 layer as is. On the brush layer, I used my manual color correction tool to change the pink to a pretty red that matched the dress again.

• On wordart by Missy layer, I chose every other letter, expanded by 1, added new layer and flood filled black. I applied a nice inner bevel. Did that again for the other letters words. See my tag for reference. Once you are happy with the looks of it, merge down so it's all one layer again.

• Add the tube above the white paper layer but below the wordart. After re-sizing if you wish, on the white paper layer, I selected all, float, defloat, expand selection by 1, invert, and on the tube layer, grabbed my eraser tool and erased the bottom part that was hanging over the circle. This makes her look nice and blended into the tag, no rough edges.

• Add elements of choice to your tag. I added one of the balloons, re-sizing and rotated having it appear behind the one circle a bit so it looks like it's coming out from behind. Added some bows and ribbons to pretty it up so it looks like the tube is all wrapped up. Once I had the ribbon 2 re-sized and situated, on the bigger black circle, I selected all, float, defloat, expand by 1, invert selection and on the ribbon wrap layer press delete. This makes it look like the ribbon is wrapping around the circle. I also took the Lips1 element, and used my manual color correction tool to match the lips to the deep red again (what can I say I love red!) and rotated and re-sized so I could place inside heart.

• At this point I re-sized my tag to what the ending size was going to be, sharpening any layers that need it and applying drop shadows. I used Eye Candy 5 Perspective Shadow on a few of these layers, but if you don't have the filter you can get similar effects with the drop shadow function in PSP. I applied a very subtle Eye Candy Gradient Glow around the tramages circle layer and the oval circle layer. Add the artist's copyright to the tag and also your tagger's watermark if you use one.

• On the tube layer, I applied Xero Porcelain (default settings), duplicated, moved that copy below original tube applying a gaussian blur of 1 to that layer. On the original tube layer, I changed the blend mode to Soft Light.

• All that's left is to add your text, I used Heartland Regular with a nice inner bevel setting and then Eye Candy Gradient Glow with an Eye Candy Perspective Shadow. These are all just preference so however you like to do your text.

Waiting for Love

This is the tag we'll be making and what you'll need:

• A Funky Kind of Love scrapkit made by the very talented QueenBrat it is available for purchase at her store.

• The tube I used is by Caron Vinson which is available for purchase at CILM, please do not use this tube if you do not have an appropriate license to do so.

• I used a mask available on the Creative Misfits blog, there are lots of great ones there! Please leave some love if you download.

• Template I used was by Stef at Freebie Friends blog, please leave some love if you download.

• Filters I used were Xero Porcelain and DSB Flux Bright Noise.

• Font used was Quick Handle which I cannot share, but any font of choice will work nicely.

Okay ready, let's go, this will be nice and easy I promise!

• Open up Stef's fab valentine template number 8, duplicate the image and close out the original, deleting the credit layer. I added a white background layer just cuz I find it easier to work on the tag then you can close this out later if you prefer transparent. Add a new layer, select all, and paste a paper of choice into selection, I used paper 8. Select none and apply mask of choice. You may want to use your deform tool if any adjustments to make the mask show through are needed. Merge layer group.

• On Raster 4 layer, select all, float defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection, I used paper 1 on this one. Select none and change the blend mode to one of your choosing, I used dissolve.

• On Raster 2, select all, float, defloat, expand selection by 1, add a new layer, flood fill with color of choice. I chose a pink color from paper 1. Add an inner bevel setting of your choice on that new layer. Select none and delete the Raster 2 layer. Repeat these steps with colors of your choice on Raster 1 and Raster 7 layers as well.

• On Raster 5 layer, select all, float and defloat, add a new layer and flood fill with a color of choice, I used a very light green and I changed blend mode to overlay. On Raster 3 layer, select all, float, and defloat, add a new layer and paste paper of choice into selection. I used paper 6. Select none and delete Raster 3 layer.

• On Raster 6 layer, select all, float, defloat and add a new layer, flood filling with a color of choice, I used a very light purple color and again changed the blend mode to overlay.

• At this point lets add our tube we are going to use. I pasted above the heart frame layer, re-size as needed, once you have positioned as you like, on the heart layer you just floodfilled in previous step, select all, float, defloat, expand by 1, invert selection, and grab eraser tool. On the tube layer erase any parts that you don't want showing. I had it so she is just kind of peaking out from the heart. Since we have the heart selected, on that purple heart layer you had flood filled, add a new blank layer and using your brush tool, put a brush of choice in there, because of your selection it will only fill that brush on the heart layer, nothing more. It's just something to add a little swirliness lol. Select none when happy with it.

• Add elements of choice. I used the LOVE wordart piece along with I made a little cluster using some of the great elements of this kit. Add any elements to make the tag unique to you. At this point I re-sized the tag to my final tag size, and sharpened any layers as appropriate. I also applied Xero Porcelain to the tube layer. Add the artist's copyright and your tagger's watermark at this point.

• Now for the text! Type your text, select none, and duplicate 2 times if you wish to animate. On the first layer of text, apply DSB Bright Noise, I used a setting of 40 and clicked on Mix. Apply a drop shadow of choice (I used settings of 2/2/75/5 and color of #83235b). Hide that layer, unhide layer 2 of text and apply filter again, clicking the mix button twice and applying drop shadow again. Repeat these steps for the third text layer.

• Open Animation Shop, with 2 of the text layers hidden, do Edit > Copy Merged and paste as a new animation. Back in PSP, hide the visible text layer and unhide the 2nd layer and again Copy Merged, paste in Animation Shop after current layer. Repeat for the 3rd layer of text. Once happy optimize your animation. View and save your animation and that's it your done! I hope you've enjoyed this nice and easy tutorial.
